I have her equipped with Mage's Habit which is 20 DEF 10 MAG/SPR. The best thing I could find for her. The no robes thing is really weird but oh well. :(

Damnnnn so close this time and no crash, but Terra died and ended up with Europa with around 5% health. So close. Crashing seems to be my main problem here lol.

New island has me hyped.

With most other mobile games, new content is mostly new units and battles but here you get new towns, secrets, equipment, recipes, world bosses etc,...

Not to mention the story is actually pretty interesting. Nothing mindblowing but compared to most other gacha games it's a breath of fresh air.

Yes, it is possible. My last pull from the last banner was an orange crystal that turned into a rainbow one. It was Chizuru. I died.

I believe it's random, like a Jackpot at the casino.

Oh my god, 3 more crashes...I don't know how many times I can keep retrying Europa again and again and having to start over each time argh.

No way!!! I just got down to literally one hit left!! Fina was the only on alive and I died, wow.

Seriously......I just defeated Europa!!! ....but the game crashed just as it was doing his defeat animation!! :mad: logged back in and still had my point and have to re do it :( this is a joke. I'm playing on an iPad Air 2 this is the only boss I'm having problems with just because of crashes.

I DID IT!!!!!!!! :eek: Finally!!! Damn I was so nervous at the end, didn't give up! No crash at the end this time. I tell you what guys, I can't remember the last time I had such a tense fight in a Final Fantasy game, possibly not since the older turn based ones... That was quite a rush!

My team was Rain, Kain, Fina, Terra and Lasswell

Now I can finally go to sleep happy (and rather tired...01:21) :)....

Congrats!

And this is an example of what is great about the game and what I'm afraid of with tomorrow's launch of the third island.

The game is so much fun when the player is on the cutting edge of what is possible. When I cleared story mode with mostly the stock team at level 40ish, that was exciting.

Going into tomorrow's content with the stock team now at 5* 80 + Kefka and now Artemios and Hayate coming up in the wings, I can't help but wonder if I'm just going to blow through it all on easy mode and be done with the island in a day or two at most. I doubt the difficulty will scale up that high this soon.

Clearing content is great and all that, but loses any significance if everything is trivial to clear.

Yeah this is why I decided to have a "Story" team that I only play the story with as best I can, and then a B team that has my more powerful guys and guys I want to level up.

Is the Facebook invite thing bugged? I've invited over 100 people hours ago but I haven't reached any new milestone after the 20 invites. I've also seen new people on my list but it's stuck at 25.

Welp, I beat Demon Chimera on my first attempt after getting Bartz.

I don't even know what was happening. He simpy.......stopped hurting me? After a point. The fight lasted like 30 turns but he didn't really hurt my team after the first few.

Kept using the frost move but it wasn't hitting anyone at all? It was weird. Rain died around turn 5 and it felt like the boss was missing by trying to target him?

I don't really know. But I got my Force Armor.

Now off to farm a couple more Hero Rings, Try to get Espers to level 2, and just raise my level rank. Also need to level up Kefka and Fina to 80. Maybe eventually start developing Artemios, heard there's a decent bow coming up.

After turn 5, he seems to just go to some weak ass attacks. It's just surviving those first 5 turns and having enough dps to finish him before you run out of heals.

Heck yea, this is my favorite game right now. It's so good I gave up One Piece for this. I'm limiting my mobile games to one because I don't have time for more.

I just read a post describing on what is fully required to craft the 70 trophy rings.

You need:

-- 3 Hero Rings
-- 3 rare byproducts of crafting the 40 trophy rings (think: Fine Alcryst) (3 days to craft 1 ring)
-- 3 rare byproducts of crafting the 50 trophy rings (3 days to craft 1 ring)
-- 3 rare byproducts of crafting the 60 trophy rings (3 days to craft 1 ring)
10 day crafting time for the 70 trophy ring

Current estimates are depending on the blessings of RNGesus on the byproducts, unless a player is willing to whale on lapis to buyout crafting times of the rings, 1 70 trophy ring might be craftable per month.

Sounds like something you would only get one of ever. And incidentally, just by making lots of the other rings along the way.

Killed my interest real quick. Still going to try 50 trophies though. At least that is somewhat doable.

This sounds almost as stupid as leveling up limit bursts or maxing out Trust Mastery without dupes.

EDIT: They are bringing new meaning to the term "long term goals"

The ring is ridiculous OP of course they won't just give it out like candy. It's reserved for the most hardcore people who invest some major time intk the game.

Nothing really new here. It's not like equipping the ring or having a team full of Top Tier Units is required to clear or enjoy mist of the content.

Well, it could be dumb luck or it could be Locke, but I took a maxed out lock into the Int Awakening Vortex and came out with three sacred crystals and two holy crystals on that run...

It's sorta sad that most of the story-packed mobile games from Japan never make it over. Exvius making it over is a blessing in that respect.

Localization for games that continually get content is a logistical nightmare.

At least the story-light games, the workload isn't all that much.
