It just comes down to if you want to play with Gaffers. If you think you're just going to solo all the time you don't have to though it's nice to join some big guild to get the sweet buff or experience bonuses.

Pulled a Trance Terra a couple nights ago. I thought I'd have all the black crysts required to enhance to hell out of her since I've never dropped my black crysts on anything other than Exdeath's meteor+1. Was surprised to see THREE of her skills all requiring black crysts and I didn't even have enough T3 ones to enhance her chaos wave. Luckily 300 NRG later I got enough need to do just that but had to leave Ultima alone. Apparently CG Sakura still sorta blows her out of the waterBut hey I'm not going to give up on a rainbow FF protag!
Trance Terra is still really good. She can chain her non-elemental attack where Sage Sakura can't, so that's a plus. Sage Sakura just wallops her on any enemy that doesn't outright resist lightning. >_>

Man Y'sh's drop rate on the raid summon is ridiculous now. Last time, I never got one, instead getting her from points. This time, I've gotten 5 separate 5000 point pulls with 2 in each.
I finally started in on the Echidna trial, got through ADV, then PRO with a little bit of trouble. Scared to try ELT without a solid plan in place for charm. Going to have to watch some vids.
Can't wait for tomorrow's news (here's hoping!)

Thats hilarious and yet so beautiful. Medius was my first unit that could go to 5*. Needles to say I maxed him to 5*. So sad how bad they made him

I know Trance Terra is still really good, but that's after investing my life-savings worth of black crysts into her and she's still not as good as Sakura in general terms and it's a bit annoying. At least she's better than any one of my 3 Lulus... >_>
What do I chain her Chaos Wave with? I guess I need some time to experiment a little.

Hmm, I guess regular Terra doesn't work. She can't doublecast her Chaos Wave and it's only 5 hits. Maybe an enhanced meteor on Exdeath or Enhanced Ultima on Majin Fina? Quake for William is 8 hits. Overflow for Victoria is 10 hits but she can only cast it once, at least until her eventual enhancements.
3 Lulus could be pretty nuts if you have a Max LB Tidus for the -100% Water debuff. Waterja maxed out would be 2800% damage per turn per Lulu. Granted, you'd field 2 of them only normally but that kind of damage ain't too shabby. It's even more if the enemy has a natural water weakness.
Managed to snag a few Minfila's with the raid draw, is it worth crafting her gear? Stats on them seem pretty low.
Got my butt handed to me by Golbez on ELT, didn't realize he would just stun lock my entire party lol.
Having a lot of fun with this game the last couple weeks, but still scrounging for more Fairies Writs to awaken more units! I guess these only come with events? FFRK eats up most of my time, but this is making a case as I can reduce FFRK to events only.
Also, any suggestions for my party composition? Also, should I pull on this banner, or wait a bit more? This is my main party at the moment. I can't seem to do Titan raid ELT, and haven't even tried the True Titan battle yet. The only way I've figured out how to beat Titan PRO is to use the wandering Reberta, Raging Thrust, then her jump attack which deals massive damage. Every time I use someone else it's such a long drawn out battle and Titan barely dies, or he runs away. Either way, PRO seems like it's better bang for the orbs since it yields me 50% more.
My best gear is Gungnir, Bahmut's Fang and the stuff from the Tower of Earth, along with some decent story gear. Managed to craft the Hero's Ring. Currently working on P. Cecil's Excalibur...but it's a long haul.

I'd recommend dropping King for Refia or Y'shtola (you'll pull one eventually with raid coins), you'll need a solid healer / buffer. Personally I'd hold off on pulling until the 28th~ No idea WHAT we'll get just yet, but it's our 1 year anniversary~ Fairies Writs mainly come from mog king events which was right before this event, if you still have any of the blue phantasma orbs you can still exchange for them. If you can't do the Titan Elt, I'd pass on the True Titan, he's much worse. Refia is immune to paralyze and her limit break can heal your whole team of paralyze, she also has esuna which can fix 1 person~

Nice thanks for the tips. Should I pass on building up Rain & co? I haven't needed them since the early game, but does building them pay off in the long run?
Since you're new to the game, Y'sh will win since she has dual cast innately, where as Refia needs it added via Tm. I personally think your party is strong enough that you don't need to immediately work on them, but there ARE story missions they're needed in, so a little wouldn't hurt for that lapis. I think what you have outshines both of them. Rain COULD have some use as a full breaker for you, so could Y'da >.>;
Currently there is a Gumi Bug. You should check the equipment from Exviuswiki
I mean, for example this Vanille's Trust Mastery reward should be something else:
^^ That should be +30% SPR & +30% MAG
For example, Minfilias weapon should be ATK+28, DEF+20, SPR+20, HP +10%, MP +10%.
Stupid Gumi not fixing bugs and not informing thems either.

I didn't play Sun and Moon because I wasn't really feeling it (and Nintendo made the mistake of releasing a week late in Europe, by which time the whole story was up on YouTube lol), but if they announce DPP remake I'll come back to the series in a heartbeat.

Fry is Hybrid? If so, then that sword aint so good for Fry. Maybe for Tidus as 2nd weapon (+ his own TM).

That Sword wouldn't fit well with Fry. If it's non-elemental, it would've have been great. I think only Tidus can benefit from it without drawback.

Mercedes needs her axe. The sword only allows Dual-Wielding with another sword.
Tidus has natural affinity with swords, so it's best with him.
Yes it's just used as an example, while we spent the tons of NRG required to finish it, people will find the best farming spots.

I wouldn't say this banner is atrocious lmao. I think it's just a niche banner. I don't have any major uses for Camille or Amelia's TMs right now but I'll go for them for their niche uses (and the fact Aileen can use anything).
If I had Olive I would think the banner is bad, without her I just can't justify the use of another word other than atrocious for this lol.
At least the last Zero banner had the bonus units and a beast buffed Rem to excuse my shameful pulls >.>

For Tidus , by adding a second sword, you won't be able to equip another weapon type to take advantage of 'mastery' materias (such as blade mastery with Genji blade for instance).
But you do benefit from having two water type weapons on each hand if you equip his Brotherhood/Fraternity TM sword.
There was a thread on Reddit about building elemental chain twice as fast by equipping your chainers with 2 matching elements instead of one. Fryevia with Aqua blade was discussed there as well.

I might do one or two dailies to try and get Camile for her sword, but that's about it. I don't really care for the other units or their TMs. I'm not really going to chase Camile all that much either. Her TM is pretty great, but I don't really have any use for it right now. I'm looking over my top tier unit list and it doesn't fit a single one of them.
So if I get her in a couple dailies, great. If not, I'm willing to let it go.
