It's the one boss fight in the story where you can't bring a friend, unfortunately (since it takes place in a town).

Rob's suggestions are good - if you have a breaker, that would be really useful too. This weekend if you're using cactaurs to level, favor individual units over spreading them out - leveling higher requires more XP but offers new abilities and bigger stat improvements (Chiz or Exdeath would be the best damage dealers for you).

Rain might be a good bet too as he's quick to level and has a good breaking ability at 6* with Undermine, but he'll probably take a long while to get there.

I've been debating raising either Wol or my level 40 *4 Agrias to cover a breaker. Any suggestions? Was hoping to pull a Y'shtola to level this weekend as well but that hasn't worked out yet.

You know what I don't get? In JP Agrias got 6* on the 3rd FFT banner, and then got enhancements like 2 weeks later. Might as well just give us regular 6* Agrias now. I want her back in my team damn it lol.

I'm going to avoid GAF on Friday. Specially since it's the day I'll be officially promoted and get my performance bonus. I'll be too tempted to pull for Cid the God when all of you pulls him.

Every year I say I won't buy the new Call of Duty, but as soon as day 1 hits I'm in the store lol. It's easy to say beforehand you'll stay away but when the time comes I know you'll be here pulling with the rest of us haha.

Do you guys think a 6 star maxed out Minfilia would be helpful? or is she just not a good choice for 5 unit challenge?

I honestly don't see the hype. That's why I'm not pulling for him. The banner isn't appealing to me and the thunder God doesn't look like he does anything other units can't. While I felt Noctis is amazing for a variety of reasons I only see Orlandu as a damage dealer. I just don't get the hype. Maybe I'll understand when I use him off the friends list. But even reading the numbers his multipliers aren't blowing everything else away. I do understand the chaining opportunities with him though and how his hits work very well with his best move. But still, I'm not seeing what exactly is so unique about the guy.

rain has Rune blade and Lava Floor to cover earth, fire and Holy

I will be using Rokurens 846 Noctis Now as he is available now and I think he is currently the highest of my noctis friends" most of my FR units have switched to Yuns or Olive now due to Ifrit raid"
Genji blade and Excalibur.

Yes exactly but this is a HARD requirement every turn

The fight is gonna get hairy and you are gonna lose characters and some turns you may not seal everything

Some turns you may have to pull a unit form sealing to recover mp, revive or whatever else you deem necessary

Thats the entire point of redundancy. Not giving the most important job to only one unit. Thankfully Noctis can cover thunder in a pinch and so can Dual Cast Refia if you put Ramuh on her

Also Noctis will be a very important support unit as well as DPS. Cover and Point warp may be needed to allow you to maintain control so having Cecil and Rain on hand as backup sealers for Fire and Holy is very useful

Noctis in this case will never run out of mp, Ring of the Lucii needs to active just 1x every other round to break even (which it'll do like 3-4x a round). Cecil backup healing should take a little off of Refia, otherwise it'll depend on how fast/slow Gilga goes down~

I sure hope so. Hate seeing heartbreak and despair here. Everyone please set a limit for tickets/lapis/$$$ BEFORE you pull the first time and stick to it. We've all seen enough horror stories. You can't come out on top every time.

Same boat! A bit more lapis here but not nearly enough for an 11-pull. My stores are still exhausted from trying to get a bunch of Shines.

I'll be doing dailies and maybe a couple tickets for event units... and hope I get one of the FFT ones rather than BE even if it means a lower multiplier. Think I can survive without a Cid, although I'll try for one of course!

It'll be nice when we finally get a mogking event that includes units that were already in the game.

Yeah.. if I spend Lapis, it'll be last. I have 83 tickets now. I cannot guarantee I will not blow them all. But then again, I've done so specifically in preparation for Olrandu. After that it'll be time to save again.

Fortunately this will also be a Mog King event, so more tickets are up for grabs during it...

You don't have to change. Orlandu is quicker anyway. They just made his name ungodly more complicated. Or TGC works too.
