5 units and I got that 30% attack and trust moogle, all but Bushido. I had to use items to get the MP as this was a long ass fight haha.

This was the best and hardest fight so far for me in Brave exvius super stoked and happy here as you can tell :)

Gilgamesh isn't a limited time trial or anything, right? My team just isn't there yet (in fact, I haven't beaten any trials aside from Intangir), but I look forward to conquering these once I have my team in order.

DPS I would say. Noctis had his hands full, Cover and bringing units to life if needed. sometimes using thunderflask and warp break. His limit break was also awesome.
If i had one more DPS unit that could only focus on DPSing all the time this fight would be faster at least. will bring in my Yun for next fight to get it done faster.

So much to catch up on....

900k points and no Y'sh so far, meh. 1.6m starting to look like money in the bank.

FINALLY, after 265 days played, I FINALLY have completed some Dual Wields. That's an awe-inspiring combination of incredibly crap draw luck regarding Zidanes....

.... only to find out that the ideal units for Ifrit ELT require additional fire and paralysis resists that I don't have. Whatever, just going to continue rolling the dice on ELT and take the points where I can, as I'm pacing well ahead of the 1.6m goal.

Also, used moogles to cash out Maxwell for my 1st ATK +30%. Feels good, man.

Hey, I'm **almost** caught up to where the vets were THREE months ago, ROFL. Procrastination FTW.

On the upcoming FFT-2 event,

For those looking at a daily and a small handful of tickets.... I'd keep a wary eye on what Mog King is offering on Friday.

To answer Muku on why bonus units exist, it is because id they didn't exist that no one outside of collectors would ever roll for 50+% of the units in the game and just hoard for units like Orlandeau, Tidus, Onion Knight, and so on. That's really bad for business and the longevity of the game as a whole.

Now, everyone in the universe (that follows some kind of FFBE board somewhere) knows that the banner is complete crap outside of Orlandeau. Likely, to compel players to pull on the banner, note the "global exclusive" katana offered by Mog King for this event. Watch either, or the katana and/or Durandal to be very expensive and likely out of the reach of most without bonus units.
 
I'm not sure what I'll do on the banner.

I have enough lapis for a 11 pull but with everyone saying the banner sucks I got discouraged. I just want a quicker way to grind the event...
 
I can only clear elite with valentus olive. In theory i should be able to with zeras since its the same attack but i feel like i do less damage its so strange hahaha

I'd say pull for a few bonus units since there is a good exclusive Katana (even more if you missed the Chirijiraden), but in the end only you know what to do.
 
Also, not a big fan of needing to grind both the raid and the Mog King simultaneously. That's going to lead to a lot of burnout for many, for sure.
 
Looking forward to slaying fools with Orlandu, Eileen, and Tidus in the next month or two.

I believe in my luck.

I'll probably whale for Tidus for sure because fuck it, I love FFX and I haven't spent more than $20 on this game so why not... right?!

You are right, we do have the exact same atk lol. He's always one upping me lmao! I notice it myself when I use his Olive with mine to 3 turn elite

His AI just has a Pool of abilities he can choose to cycle through. The reason you seal them is so that you limit the pool to the weakest strikes in his arsenal of which he can do 6-8 actions a turn

So you most definitely want to seal Fire, Holy, and Wind every turn. Thunder after 50% and Earth and Water IF you can

The trick is redundancy and hybrid attacks. The goal is maintaining control every turn and slowly and steadily bringing him down.

Quite honestly you only need one unit to DPS and the rest on sealing and Defense. I dont even recommend wasting turns on dispel unless you are lacking any form of Mana recovery

Basically you want to

1. Seal
2. Slowly dps and build up esper and LB/buffs to prepare for each threshold
3. Cross threshold with maximized defense. Rinse and repeat

Protip. Units with counter give you free seals for that Turn. This is amazingly helpful on Tanks (since they will take the most hits if you provoke) like Cecil since he can use that turn to buff, support, heal instead. Counter is also great on any unit that is sealing with weapons

thanks DrRob. The fight was smooth if you used the water blade and lava floor strat.
It got hairy when he was down at 30 % as he killed Refia and Rain.... played it cool though and got refia back up with Noct and after a turn Rain was back up too.

Happy to say I got all rewards for the raid. That's a first for me! Totally forgot too that ranking matters, so to speak, for some other rewards.

I'll keep going so I can do some more summons as well as selling the coins.

Almost have a best in slot Olive to share with all of you after finishing my first Bracer today. I have 99% TM brave suit Ramza awaiting the 1% trust moogle reward this week, and I'm working on the second Bracer. Feels good man.

So Thunder God has finally arrived. I have 20k lapis and 55 tickets. I somehow don't think it is worth trying in this banner though as everything else on it is complete trash.

I'm having to do 22 of every raid orb a day just to ensure Y'shtola, as I can't do ELT (I have no Refia, so relying on Tilith 5*) so that's a bit of a nuisance. Hopefully still manage it on time, I'm at 550k right now so here's hoping.

Still no 5* base after a year of daily pulls and a fair few tickets/11 pulls which is making more difficult content a bit of a pain. On the plus side, I'm almost done with 2nd DW and my first TM weapon (Saka, as I only have Chizzy for decent DPS)

Glad to see so many of ExGAF are doing well these days but seem to have lost a lot of regulars :( I've had to clear 6 slots of long inactive GAF players so if anyone would like a mediocre CoD and soon a above average Chizzy then feel free to add me ; 800,658,183

So good luck for all TGC chasers. I'm undecided but ehh, I saved for him this long, may as well see what happens
