Units
For full equips, see the video. Units and important roles/equips were:
Victoria: 908 mag. Most important unit. Charge up Firaja + Magical awakening to nuke the boss once below 50%
Noctis: Second most important unit. Only unit with extensive TMRs. Full dodge *(edit: whoops he only had 90% dodge. Still worked fine I guess. Thank u/pochen23 ) , 8100 hp, 304 spr, mechanical heart. Mechanical heart is key. A normal provoke tank would work if beefy enough, but this ended up being the safest build for me (after using WoL and Wilhelm in earlier clears).
Orlandeau: Main damage dealer. 945 atk on Ifrit. No 5* TMRs.
Agrias: Chaining. Built for survivability, not damage. 366 atk, 7300 hp, 240 def, 209 spr.
Soleil: Dances the whole fight (all dances +2). Def/Spr the entire time except for preparing to nuke.
Rikku: Here for hyper null all. Never used her limit burst.
Warrior of Light: Breaks when needed. Demon axe for dark element. Mostly rode the bench.
Tilith: Healing/MP regen of course. Could go with any other DC healer if you have another form of MP regen (but I don't, so Tilith it is).
Ling: Not a dodge build. Breaking and earth damage. Mostly there in case of emergency.
Garnet: Just there to summon an esper. Unequipped except for the single Evo Mag +10% I've built. On Tetra Sylpheed. Note: I had her on Diabolos first run for his long attack animation but realized after that esper damage doesn't count if 100% resisted by Sheraton so avoid that...
The Support Strategy
I'll separate this from the kill strategy since you could use this support strategy with any kill squad you wanted (or you could similar attackers but a different support setup). You don't have to replicate 100% of this strategy to come up with something that will work.
Keep Fish up on Noctis every turn. This could also be WoL/Brave Presence, I just wanted to keep WoL available for breaking if needed.
Start with Soleil Spr dance. Alternate dances to keep Def/Spr buffed at all times.
Synthesis and Hyper NullAll with Rikku. If Hyper NullAll is up on all units and you don't need to re-charge Synthesis, take Rikku out. That way when you need it again, it will be available on demand.
Keep Atk/Mag break applied at all times. This can be WoL, Ling, or Orlandeau. I avoided WoL because he kept covering Noctis and getting close enough to death that I had to bring Tilith in for healing.
Tilith sat the bench for much of this fight, but came in every three turns after petal storm (which did enough damage that units needed full heal). Towards the end of the fight when units were getting low on MP, she stayed in much more permanently.
The kill strategy - Phase I
At the beginning of the fight, charge Firaja with Victoria for 3 turns to get max mod. On the 4th turn, use magical activation. Be sure to use Soleil's atk/mag dance on the 4th turn! This will allow you to bench Soleil once you clear the threshold.
Once you've benched Victoria, bring in WoL and Ling (could be anyone with Dark/Earth elemental attacks) and someone to imperil (I put Tilith on Shiva for this). The imperil is important because I'm nearly positive that if attacks are 100% resisted it won't count for the mission. Getting this out of the way early is helpful, since it means you don't have to worry about it in phase II.
Bring in Orlandeau and Agrias. Use cleansing strike to fill your esper gauge. You can use Orlandeau's crush weapon at any point as well, it just slows the fight down slightly since it will take a couple extra turns to fill the esper gauge.
With esper gauge filled and dark/earth attacks done, switch to full divine ruination for a few turns until you're a turn away from the 50% threshold (For me this was ~60%).
Before clearing the 50% threshold there are two important things to do:
Be certain that you have Hyper NullAll up for everyone you will have in through the threshold. Otherwise Dark Miasma will almost definitely wipe your attackers.
Use Soleil's atk/mag dance. If you've been keeping her def/spr buffs up, then you will be able to go through the threshold with 120% boost to all stats. It is important to do this before going through the threshold because, as long as you buffed Victoria before benching her, you won't need Soleil the turn after threshold.
The Kill Strategy - Phase II
If you've done everything properly up to this point, this is pretty quick. Bring in Victoria, Orlandeau, Agrias, Garnet, and Ling (or whoever you have for area def/spr breaks). The breaker isn't 100% necessary, but makes it so you can hit the fruits much harder.
Double Firaja, fire off divine ruinations, and summon esper when needed to get credit for the kill. This will take out Sheraton pretty easily. On my run, it also took out the fruit that is weak to light, and left the second fruit with ~5% hp.
Clean up as necessary.
A Few other notes
I would strongly suggest a provoke tank instead of an AOE cover tank since all Phys damage is ST. If you can't build a 100% dodge provoke tank, bringing in a ST cover tank (Cecil, WoL, Charlotte) to cover your provoke tank will work fine. I just didn't do it because it meant two units that were required and I liked the freedom to be able to sub 4 units in/out.
Lots of questions about MP regen. I used Tilith because her on demand was the best for me. However, any HOT will mostly work. Charlotte is best IMO, but Noctis, Tidus, etc. will also work. The only downside to HOT MP regen is that it procs at the end of your turn, meaning your provoke tank may have 0 MP sometimes (and cannot re-provoke). You could probably activate an AOE cover in this case and be fine until you have enough MP on your provoke tank. But I wasn't looking to actively make it more difficult for myself...
Buff management was difficult for me to figure out (and super important). Eg using Hyper NullAll one turn then bringing in a new unit the next means that unit won't be buffed Andrew you need to re-cast Hyper NullAll again. My only recommendation here is that it takes some getting used to, but worth planning/practicing. Most of my failed attempts were because of this.
Alternative units: * Noctis WoL, Wilhelm. If low evade add Charlotte or Cecil for ST cover
Tilith (MP) Ace (better than Tilith here), Ilias, Charlotte, Noctis, Tidus, Ling, etc etc. Just be ready for your provoke tank to have 0 MP if you aren't using Tilith, Ace, or Ling.
Tilith (Heals) Y'shtola, DC Refia, Ayaka (lol), enhanced Luka. Anyone who can heal ~5,000 hp in a turn.
Orlandeau/Agrias Any two of DV/Orlandeau/Agrias. If you have DV bring him for sure. Any two units with Pod 153. Amelia/Setzer/Bran (I think). Any two units that can chain. Better if they can do some damage, not 100% required.
Victoria Emperor (probably the best) (I forgot FFB is ST. Will work, but not best) D Fina, T Terra, Ashe. I went Victoria since the fruits are weak to fire. And I don't have any better mages. Zyrus would work, but lacks AOE so not highly recommended.
Rikku DV, VoE, 9S, Minfilia
Soleil You can sub anyone with buffs here, but I don't think I could recommend it. Soleil was an all star for me.
Garnet Literally any unit. Pick that unit you love but have never brought into anything. Then put an esper on him(her). You don't need the esper mag boost. But I <3 Garnet and have literally never once used her until now.
Hope this is helpful.
