[JP] Anybody in Japan able to put up a 130% fire resist dps (or healer) for me to take down ifrit 3*? Came close a few times but 5 man with shiva being on someone for thr rewards is crippling me...Yes, I could leave the summon shiva mission, but Im 5% away from Onion Knights sword and I want it now dammit!! Can get my Mistear to 115%, but still wiped on the last run. Whoever gets shiva gets massacred...

The next one your priority should be Chizuru.
You will get Large Sword Mastery + Genji Blade from gilgamesh trial.
The next step is to get Blade Mastery from Chizuru so that when you wield Genji Blade (or Katana), you will get additional 50% Attack.
Aside from that, i think you might want to consider 9S TMR (4* unit from Nier Banner, which is supposedly will come next week, who knows?!). It is a very desirable TMR that give your unit great ability like chain and damage mitigation.
Amelia TMR is BiS only if you have Olive or in the future Balthier
Leon TMR is decent alternative to Chizuru, but Chizuru is still better and more flexible
Geffgarion and Grace TMR is very good too, but they are not the the most important.

Was something mentioned or is it just assumed? Ive maxed his LB too and considering using Tidus as an entrust bot once I have the time...him being able to manage by himself though, that would be class. Wouldnt need to worry about Ramza or Lunera for a while...
It was part of the Paris Fan Festa questions to the producers, they said there wouldn't be any more nerfs and are going to buff Noctis.

(JP). Just did a final multi on the BD banner for a last ditch effort at Tiz. Double rainbow. Lightning (why) and Roy (yay). That is 7 Rainbows on the banner and all off. Jesus, now I'm not sure how I feel about the 3% rate lol.
Maybe that's your new power hippo... excessive rainbows, but ALL OF THEM off banner mauhaahahah~ awesome overall... except in the case of exclusives >.>;

Helmless Kain seems interesting, with multiple moves that provide strong imperils for multiple different elements (Wind, Water, Dark). Also interesting in that he has a version of these moves that act as dispel and then applies the imperils thereafter in the same move. That right there has value. 40 ATK TMR helm is nice, too.

If a person is going to go so far as to equip EVO MAG materia, their focus is not going to be on casting other spells. On the other hand, people are already talking about potentially very strong synergy with William via Quake. Guess the numbers will tell the fully story on this one from the datamine tomorrow.

If they do buff Noctis' TM and LB, I'm so fucking golden. His JP LB for reference, " 1480% ST 5 Hit Physical Attack & AoE 2 Turn +124% ATK/DEF/MAG/SPR & Self 2 Turn 30% Damage Reduction"
His Ring will also be A1 Prime for Fryevia, but I still don't believe they said anything about the TM.

Whoa, I didn't realize Noctis LB was that much different in JP. Very intrigued if they're just gonna switch him to the JP version, and how that would even occur. Just patch the game or through ability awakening somehow? Who needs a bard when you can just nuke everything and get a 124% stat increase!
The MP and HP regen from bards are much more important though. The stats are just the topping. With this set up we will have the the biggest AoE buff + the battery from bards + someone with elemental coverage + tank + dps. We will be steam rolling anything.

Its not a big difference but she will likely be my stongest damage dealer for a while and getting her to LB lvl +10 or so should be possible.
I wanna level and invest in Ilias...dont know why no one talks about him but i find his skills quite amazing....sure he isnt the best in class for most suff - but he has alot of useful tools at his disposal. He seems to be a much better MP battery than Ling.

you can also do it yourself and dont depend of a friend unit and enhance a Seven's Elementlash. Her elementlash+2 debuff fire/ice/lightning -70% and with that you can do maximun damage any time you want.

True, i have Seven but for this scenario i wouldnt have any spot for her on my team and i probably dont have the Crystals needed to awaken her ability.
I was just wondering what friend captain would be the best choice if i only care about overall damage. Hell...maybe ill need look into Seven again i max level her 6* version anyway, perhaps the Elemenslash costs arent that high xD

If your prio is defensive tmr..
Make tilith a bit beefier..
Equip h shield from charlotte..
Given she's a trash unit, you might have multiple copies of her making the process faster..
After that..
I think there's a nice shield for her from one of the trial, alternatively aegis shield tmr..
Also hill dagger tmr for wilhelm..
If your prio is offensive tmr..
Shine tmr for reberta if you have
If you have gaffgarion, also braced will do
A 2nd Olive will be better than Ace.
Ace's imperil is 75%, which means your Olive's True Shot will do 840% damage (480% x 1.75).
2nd Olive doing Shattering Shot will lower def by 50%, as well as imperil 50%. Which means your prime Olive will deal 1440% damage (480% x 2 x 1.5).
That's 600% more damage when using a 2nd Olive instead of Ace.

I just used a Friend Olive with +1k damage...and yeah i only did the Earth Shrine but seeing that unit True Shot for like 2m with WoL depuff and Wilhelm ATK boost was crazy...lol. Had to doublecheck the number because i never crossed +1m before.
I dont even understand why she hits that hard..because the True Shot description doesnt make the skill sound much better than other skill her her damage boost while good, shouldnt be much higher than TM Gilgamesh.

Couldn't you do it in 2 runs or is it cast shiva while only 5 members in party? Having a 6th who can hide and jump out to cast shiva and die would probably be easy enough to do

[JP] So .. Bravely Default characters, are they limited time? I burned like 11 tickets this morning try to get other banner tickets outside of the lone blue on banner, which I have already. Got one of the golds in it all and 6 more of the Blue one. No complaints because I had some Trust Moogles for the Golds. I would be using names but can't remember atm, and I didn't play Bravely.
Just wondering if I should pull a little more, or whether once it's done just to sell the TM if they're limited.

Brilliant thank you Shouta. I saw this a little too late though. I have since made a failed attempt with a 6 man party and no Shiva though just to beat it at least...lost at the half way point. Unfortunately I'm now out of Ifrit stones. So don't worry for now, will try again when my exhibition comes back with one.
I have Eiko so my plan was to just have one expendable unit and just summon with Eiko, but not sure who would be expendable. I was running Eiko, Lunera (max song), Wol, Onion Knight and Mistear + friend unit. I think I have the timing down and a unit with reraise would probably fix things, so could probably sub in Rikku for my Wol/Mistear if using your Basch with Eiko Buffon her LB.
Anyway, thanks. I'll let you know next time I've a stone.
Yea I scrapped that idea. Much effort little reward. I just like one and done when possible but it's just not worth it.

I picked up the mitigation one, sure it doesn't stack with rikku... but could be more than useful enough to tank with if she's not needed for that fight.
