Meh it's okay I don't know why but this is the only mobile game were my luck is pure shit tier. They do a good job of making sure I won't ever buy anything though lol. Oh well I will save my last 50 Mythril for a different one because if I see that healing staff again my phone is going in a wall.

My 11 pull got me Thyrus, Minwu's Healing Staff, and Steiner's Tin Armor. All new for me, so that's great.
Would of liked one of the BSBs and/or Terra's OSB, but I'm not gonna chance spending anymore Mythril. The hoarding continues.

100 gem sparklie! Minwu dupe. Not pulling on this as I have the play sword maxed thyrus which will probably end maxed next week and now a minwu+. Great banner for noobs, though. I have Terra's osb in Jp but never bother with it so haven't used it to its fullest.

And hitting 4*9999 is so satisfying. I really like mage meta. My team was Vivi(BSB+Meltdown) and Terra(SSB+Chain Firaga) as my fire mages and the rest was two healers and Tyro for dances and I still did insane damage. Hitting 3*9999 with Meltdown is ridiculous! I really need to hone it to R2.

The guy did 30 11 pulls trying to get the OSB (didn't get it).
I post when I have good pulls, sometimes I get 1/11 pulls with generic 5* item that's nothing special to post about. I'll post my bad pulls next time, haha

What's a better way to gear her up? Max MAG or fire boost+?
I have her tiara with 30ish mag or refia glove with fire boost
I'm thinking fire boost wins out because +20% damage OSB is more than +20 mag points for stronger nukes?
Some people just don't have self-control, especially when they have the $$$ to chase a relic

I have to hold myself back from drawing. The BSBs all seem nice but I already have the Tiara, Platinum Sword and Thyrua so any consolation prizes would be even more disappointing. I'll wait until Banner 3.

Did one pull: Thyrus x2 and Tin Armor. Not too thrilled, but I have to save mithril for the xiv banner.
Single 11 pull got me Terra OSB and a dupe Plat sword. Not the pull of my dreams or anything but it's nice to have an OSB finally (and Terra's at that). Already have her Tiara and Locke's BSB so shit's gonna BURN. Wish I had some +fire armor though. Done with this OSB Fest outside of dollar pulls regardless, 14 banner one looms...

I've gotten some iTunes cards as Christmas gifts tho so I plan to do extra pulls for osb-fest and XIV
This is considering I used to play mmorpg's and had to pay for subs every month for $15 each game, but quit those since I've been busier and replaced my gaming to mobile in the meantime
I'm thankful for FFRK, it's a fun game and fits my gaming itch when I have school and work 12-16 hours at a time, but it sure can burn ppl with pulls. It's the nature of gatcha mobile games sadly.

My logic = Terra tries to be a hybrid with a more magey type, giving her a blood sword with 160+ MAG stat makes all other rod/staff pointless while also 120 atk as a bonus.
2 swords with 160+ mag can make for some interesting mixed teams and allow some nuking from hybrids like Onion Knight and Tyro.
For example, in d200 multiplayer with Gilgamesh, I like to gear up Onion Knight so he can BSB burst both physical and magic to avoid counters from both Enkidu and Gilgamesh. Enkidu counters magic so physical burst command for that and magic spam on Gilgamesh for 4x3k.

I'd strongly consider it over my Shout/Wall if I had it mastered. No +fire armor but at least I have a few weapons.

That's why I don't really have any desire for osb's.
Krile's Tomorrow's Promise did 160k damage over the burst duration. Sure it's not 100k up front, but more overall. BURST FOREVER, OSB NEVER!

Thyrus, Terra OSB (goes with Locke's BSB!) -- no tiara though, Platinum Sword++, and Minwu SSB. Not bad, yeah?
I wouldn't prefer them in general over a BSB due to the sheer utility of the commands meaning less ability use needed as well as their other unique features depending on the BSB in question, but there would have been no "weak" or "very weak" phase to worry about there which can matter a ton. I can only imagine what she will be doing with actual set up. Fire Beam > 2 x 99,999 in a mere 3 turns ain't playing around, and I can realistically do it with something like Lifesiphon/Entrust on OK or even just Ramza BSB Command 2. Wouldn't even be much work since I have Locke with Imperil Fire too.
4. I might do 3 especially if a dupe would be a BSB since those are lower odds than normal relics or dupes are a good stat stick for a realm I am weak in, but Mythril gets better over time as gear improves and new/better SBs come out.

Second, Vanille's BSB seems fantastic and is my first Burst Medica (I have Dagger of Resolve as my first WM Burst). I can even run full Bursts teams now (Luneth/Faris/Rikku/Yuffie/Jecht/Beatrix/Lightning + Onion + Keeper + Vanille)! However, I'm scared that now I'm "cursed" to go 1/11 on the XIV banner and get Y'shtola's BSB. If that happens, this pull will likely go unused.
Lastly, I'm assuming the best use of Terra's Tiara would be Chain Firaga + Meltdown. However, I don't have any of the Chain -Gas honed (I figured Mage BSBs are the best way to tackle Mage Meta and those just use burst commands). The best build I could think of doing for her is R4 Wrath + R1 Meltdown. Wrath spam -> SSB -> Meltdown x2 -> SSB x2. Would the damage on the back half of this tactic make it viable? Would the best RM be Ace Striker for gauge or a damage boost? If damage, would Devotion for MAG be better than +20% Fire?

For me it would depend on if you have enough to take advantage of element stacking. Do you have Imperil Fire? +Fire damage gear? If yes, then I would run with those and mix/match synergy gear until you can comfortably hit 9999, or weaker multi hit BSB commands that add up to 9999 or more (or close to it) in *insert content here* with your BSB commands (or Firagas in your case) each round, since that's the cornerstone of any element stacking team. I've had a fair amount of fun with my Holy one (PCecil + Beatrix and friends) but there's always going to be that one or two bosses that come around that are immune/absorb your team's damage so you need a backup team (f*ck you Yunalesca and Red Soul).
Otherwise, i would just run it like any other SSB/BSB character you want to use and do an Ace Striker type RM + any RW BSB and build up the gauge with the Commands. This is pretty easy with OK's Vessel of Fate since he works with any character and his buff is good anywhere (and there's a lot of OK RWs out there), but you could also run a few other rarer things like Vivi BSB or w/e
