So anyways guys, both Nvidia and AMD have released beta drivers on the eve of ARR.
Nvidia released ForceWare version 326.80 Beta, it got me almost 1000 points for free on the benchmark with identical settings so they definitely have been optimizing the drivers leading up to ARR's relese. The previous drivers have had a lot of complaints regarding stability in the beta clients, hopefully Nvidia has been cleaning that up before release.
AMD released Catalyst 13.9 Beta2, which is the first driver for ARR under the Gaming Evolved banner. Among other things, this driver adds official CrossFire support for ARR and improves performance and stability.
I spent all weekend refreshing to get on Ultros. I hope it opens up for early access so I can see you all there!
Guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see how good this OT really is

That shit pushed me over the edge to switch to JP voices.
I think I recall the 1.0 voices to be much better, which is a damn shame
Boss Battle # 2 is so insanely hype laden, its...insane.
Jeezus, that first post is more effort than SE put into the game during 1.0

Okay so still getting Error 3, but my profile has changed from PC to:
Which bodes well
Amazing OT! I'm starting to get interested in this game and may get it for the PS4 when it launches. However, I'm confused about the subscription model because there's 4 different prices and they all say "Monthly Price" but next to the $12.99 price it says 180 days for the subscription length?
Didn't they suspend the ability to redeem codes?
Try the text based version mentioned in the first two words of the OP.These unsearchable image based OPs are so freaking annoying. Particularly for those of us that browse GAF on our phones more than anywhere else nowadays.
They didn't "forget" about the mini-map; they mentioned it was too resource heavy to change it's size in some post somewhere.I hope they come to their senses and allow you to scale the dialogue boxes and map UI, just like you can with every other element. PC on my TV, and it's almost a perfect setup, but I can't believe they didn't think about those two.
Everyone who previously registered a copy of FFXIV 1.0 is considered an owner of the Windows version of ARR and does not need to buy the game again (nor can they register another Windows version) under that account. If registered during 1.x, they also qualify for the Welcome Back Campaign. This means they can play for free until September 9th. Added subscription time is only used after that date.
I registered a copy of 1.0 but I didn't sub beyond the intial free month. I'm guessing that doesn't make me legacy (according to the flowchart) and I'll need to buy ARR?
oh so i cant even redeem my preorder ps3 code atm?Didn't they suspend the ability to redeem codes?
I also like to choose classes that are least played.
You're not "legacy," but you don't need to buy the game again. You get it for free. You kinda answered your own question with your first sentence.
Just the font. I can see the map well, I just can't read a damn thing from a couch. They didn't "forget" about the mini-map; they mentioned it was too resource heavy to change it's size in some post somewhere.
So I just need to download the client and I'm good to go on the 27th?
Oh, okay. I'm sorry haven't heard anything about that.Just the font. I can see the map well, I just can't read a damn thing from a couch.
If you don't want responsibility, you probably won't like healing.Till today i still dont know wich class i want to play.
I love a tank, but hate the responsibility.
I love dps, but thats standard and their will probably be hundreds of BLM and DRG.
I never ever played as a healer class, is a healer fun to play.
I also like to choose classes that are least played.
I thought about making an archer and then a bard.
Does anybody have a graph that show the most and least played classes.
And do you think that a bard would be viable for dungeons and asked often in parties ?
Help me guys !

That's great news! It sounds like everything should [hopefully] be fixed for Early Access!
Yes.

Where can I find it? I checked the OT and website and didn't see anything, or is it still only available for people in OB?
