I find it funny that the left eyehole is still just hair.

The default Raen face seems to be my favorite, their eye shape options are the best. I expect most people to pick it.

I'll dig into it further later today when I have the time.

I hope they make the UI scale better for 4k in the xpac so it's usable in real gameplay. Also not sure why my card is showing up at 3GB when I have the 3.5GB+512MB card. Ran diagnostics to find out if it was my card and it definitely has 4GB.

My TITAN X VRAM isn't correctly detected either, don't worry :) And regarding UI, there's a scaling option in the Other tab. Tried that?

Ah, I mean in actual gameplay. It doesn't scale quite high enough.

However for the benchmark/character creator it does scale it high enough for good visibility at 4k! There's hope yet :D

The female au'ra emotes are so fucking anime. They feel so forced.

Not bad for max settings! Can probably tone a few things like water tesselation down and score a lot higher.

Or just buy a 970 some time. That could work too.

What does that even mean.

They seemed about as silly as every other race/gender's emotes, which I guess means most emotes in this game are anime.
no seriously, what does that mean

New Dragoon armor is so silly. No wonder they all look sad. They can never sit down. Ever.

Seriously though, way over designed.

The seven and Midgardsormr (on top). This picture was shown last weekend so we know what it is.
I didn't even recognize the top one as Midgardsormr at first glance, something looks really weird with his face there.

I would guess the gold looking one beneath him is Bahamut. Some of the earlier FFXIV Bahamut artwork had him heavily gold, and since the one we know is a primal the appearance doesn't need to match exactly. I doubt Saint Shiva walked around looking like Dominatrix Ice Queen at least.

Needs more belts imo.

Hey all,

Just joined the GAF guild!

My name is Lexi Maken and I'm a level 22 Conjurer. I restarted playing on the PS4 (came from PC). There's nothing better than playing on a couch, except not being able to talk to anyone because talking with the controller is such a pain.

Can't wait to play with you in-game!

Male Au Rau hair styles are so anime it hurts. I want to role a male for once but I just cannot.

Females look dope though. I might finally change from my Miqo'te.
Edit: that said everyone and their dog will be running around as female Au Rau's so I might not bother.
"[insert thing] is so anime" comments are getting sorta dumb.
Sorry, force of habit. Finding it difficult to put into words what exactly I mean, but I guess it just looks silly? Sillier than everything else looks anyway.

Will check out the benchmark when I get home. Some of the Au Ra male faces are nice though from what people have posted.

I thought I'd roll a devilman in this expansion too. I even have the perfect name for him.

But the character generation pictures all look weird to me. I'll grab the benchmark tool at home later on and try to build my own monster.

After I nerfed some of the settings. Victory screen had nothing but disappointment from my party. Business as usual lol

My PS3 might actually run it better than this

I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT IT MEANS.

Darkness Tear is so anime.
explain this to me in basketball terms

Just seems like a weird way to describe things. A lot of their unique hair styles do look like something you'd see in an anime, but then 90% of all gear, animations, dialogue, and so forth are also something you'd see in a typical anime. That style is pretty intertwined with JRPGs to begin with. (for obvious reasons)

Oh and male Au Ra got a lot of the other race's male hair styles on top of the super saiyan hair, so if that's all that's holding you back it's not a big deal.

Can you even run the DX11 version? I want to see how this compares to the Grimm Grandiron benchmark score. All other scores are zzzzzzz.
