Final Fantasy XV - 50 min video

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the cups and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each cup and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Still a better story than Final Fantasy XIII.

If I were in charge of the scenario, I would have make Noctis Delita 2.0 or another Prince Arthas, where he starts off being a righteous prince who simply wants to retrieve back Lucis's crystal and return it to the throne and be done with it, but gradually turns into a corrupted king who has thirst for more power over the control Lucis has over other nations. The story becomes even more insane with the climax where Noctis completely lost his mind and killed his friends one by one, and the final boss being Luna, who tried to stop him from all the madness but at that point Noctis is already too deep into the darkness road that he's taken. After killing Luna, he has finally regained some of his morality and decided to commit suicide.

The end.

Except for the rest I'm expecting a sort of twist after the city is taken. Perhaps starting a war against Niflheleim and take that too under Lucis'

Sounds pretty bad tbh, not like you can't make a story like that work, but this doesn't gel with anything this game has shown.

It was this particular scene where Noctis wanted revenge that sparked the little fanfic thought at the back of my mind.

The details are rough, but my concept was making Noctis a kind of anti-hero that nobody would expects him to turn out to be like, incidentally creating one of the most memorable JRPG protagonist of all time, with a script that is bound to cause a lot of controversial opinions but is nonetheless powerful, thought provoking and interesting. I think someone like Yasumi Matsuno could make it work.

He already looks like Sasuke, guy went insane with revenge, people would never stop with the comparisons haha.

Wow so they're really keeping that god awful combat system? All style zero substance. I got insanely bored just from the platinum demo alone. Seems like the only thing they did was make it flow a little better, but the paper thin mechanics remain the same.
 
Glad I watched before I read any comments since I can say I genuinely enjoyed what I saw. Hunts seem fun, and the minigames look pretty neat and as though they had some effort put into them. I liked the VA honestly, felt they fit the characters, even if some of the accents are a bit cartoony.

I feel like some people wanted some overly serious melodramatic dialogue but it seems like they went with a more fun take. Can't quite put into words what I mean by this accurately, but it seems like the game isn't afraid to get a bit goofy with things. Glad they went this direction.

Music is great, as if anyone was gonna be surprised by that. This totally made me super hyped to play it.

The voice acting is generally pretty good, except for Gladio. Sometimes his voice sounds natural, but many times he sounds like he's forcing his voice too much. Everybody else seems okay, even Cidney. Gladio alone might make me play with Japanese dub.
 
Old Noctis looks pretty cool. Really dislike how everyone in these games looks like a supermodel with perfect hair. Really wish they would go for more grounded character designs.

Pormpto sounds much worse, especially when he talks normally then changes his inflection like at the starts ...on the bring of death. Let's not even talk about Ignis' terrible accent. The voice direction is also pretty bad and makes it obv the lines were filmed at different times.

It's incredibly bad. I honestly don't understand where they hire these people for voice work.

I hope so. I would hate it if they blocked all the cities and settlements after the time skip like FFVIII's fourth disc :/

or Legend of Dragoon.......but I think they gave a huge warning before you went to the tree of life.....so you know you couldn't return to anything,. But yes, getting warped to Ultimecia's castle sucked.

That's already looking better :F

I understand game characters have to look appealing, but FF just goes over the top... I would love an aesthetic more in line with the original games, something like medieval fantasy with a Japanese touch.
