I was very, very close to canceling my preorder, but this looked good!

I'm not as hyped as I could be for a mainline FF release, but I'm optimistic.

There's a snowy area where after you defeated Shiva the whole snow of the area melts away.

Everytime I look at those gifs I see a new minor detail I missed last time.


This game is a winner. And all of those other games delaying themselves into oblivion (next year) was a good move. XV is so fly, and come Nov 29th, we are gonna see so many people eat crow. I'm not even an FF fan like that, but this is gonna be unreal when it finally comes out.

The animations have so much personality. They are so fun to look at.

I just hope there are enough of them so that it doesn't get boring after awhile.

Impressive stuff. What video are those aerial combat gifs from?
 
Just think we seen a good amount of link strikes and both Eurogamer and polygon only used 2 weapons the engine sword and the spear nobody even bothered with the great sword. Add in all the other weapons and hot damn link strikes everywhere

I think you should speak for yourself. I really liked the movie a lot and disagree with most of your points. Just because you didn't like it, shouldn't it not exist for others that enjoy it.
Different things for different people/tastes.

They seem hell-bent on not showing anything other than the Duscae and Leide (I think it's called?) region. They did recently show some new dungeons recently, like the mine in the Leide region and the
Malmalam thicket
[in the Cleign region], so that's at least something. I take it they want to keep the story under wraps and therefore don't want to do anything but the first two regions. We have seen footage from inside two cities, so we know (and knew before seeing that) that there is enough variety in landscapes (see the world of wonder trailers as well).

Sorry guys, I am not too familiar with this game but is the combat here all real-time? I haven't been keeping up with the series. I just think it looks amazing.

That area is in the twitchcon region is Cleign. It's the area after Duscae. It's more damp and swampy compared to the Duscae but we still haven't seen a lot of it. Cleign, Duscae, and Leide make up the map. While we're not entirely sure there is another bigger map that we'll explore, we at least know that the world isn't just those 3 areas.

Ah, interesting, didn't know that. I do remember that the area before the dungeon lookeda bit darker than Duscae generally does, so this makes sense.

There should be multiple continents yeah, and those regions make up the first one.
 
This video is the first thing that makes me hyped for FFXV in a while, i was hoping for Kingsglaive to do that but well :/

But despite many, many doubts i really hope this game turns out great and worthy of the Final Fantasy name , makes lots of fans happy selling very well worldwide and a good sign for things to come
