Final fantasy XV might have 3 theme songs

I only really hope that these songs don't feel so out of place in the game the way "My Hands" was in Final Fantasy XIII.

I purchased Stand by Me straight away. Loved it since that first trailer with it. I quite like Too much is never enough as well. I will be is a lovely track but not something I would listen to on my Ipod unlike the others.

Really glad they went with Florence and the Machine. I'm quite a fan of their music.

The songs are now on Youtube.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS FLORENCE!! SLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY ME QUEEEEEEN!!!

Late to the party, but I just listened to these songs and I've become completely convinced that Too Much Is Never Enough is the real ending theme here.

The EP is amazing. I only like a few Florence + the Machine songs but they made the best choice with this collaboration. I wouldn't be mad if I Will Be or Too Much end up being the ending themes, they are as good as Somnus.

My ideal pick would be I Will Be during the first credits and Somnus during the second one.

Stand By Me was already great but Too Much Is Never Enough... just beau-ti-ful! I Will Be is good too, really can't wait to listen all of them and Shimomura's great work in the game.

Stand by Me is 11/10, i can already feel the tears lining up.
Too Much is growing on me, while I Will Be is ok-ish but might be cool during the appropriate scene.

Too Much Is Never Enough was pretty bad. Florence + the Machine often borders on sort of "wailing" and this song was particularly bad for it. It just felt very atonal to me, like not much was going on musically besides a loud voice that was going for haunting or ethereal but achieved droning instead.

The other two tracks are much stronger, imho. I Will Be is nice and ambient, well suited for the environmental trailer they deployed it in the other day. I could see it used in the game in a moment where everything is building, like walking or approaching a destination, almost like the main theme swell in Max Payne 3 in the airport.

Stand By Me is a good cover--not sure it adds much (besides maybe a little yearning or desperation) to the emotional vibe of the original song, but I like it still.

Before with FFXV, I sometimes felt it was stuck in a weird halfway point between trying to be Versus and trying to be its own thing. It got progressively weirder with it flip-flopping and not establishing an identity of its own.

I think having these songs kind of made me look at the game in a better way, as it feels like it's content on doubling down on the road trip and friendship themes while having a pleasant world just by watching the World of Wonder trailer. I have to wonder how much of that holds up in the final game, though.

Her voice had kind of a Stevie Nicks quality to it in the song, which I really like.
Different strokes... :}
