Gladio was a dick head for part of the game and Ignis is blind now but sees better then Promto because he seems more useful in battle.
The Bros, should have gotten more character attention in game. I could say the same for all characters in this game honestly.
Doing post game stuff now. But, was running around close to an empire base when a magitek ship triggers a small cutscene and Aranea jumps out and joins the party. She then says something and quickly leaves the party. Anyone knows what that's about. Thought I was gonna be able to party with her for a bit, but nah lol.

The believe of an afterlife or different spheres beyond mortal life was a pretty strong focus/theme in this game.

Yeah, it is really weird how she leaves the army and still has a ship. It happens occasionally and she will help you finish a hard battle before leaving. It happened against Iron Giants for me.
Of the scene? To show them together in the afterlife, reunited, during Noctis' ascencion, after the hardships they had to go through. I thought it was extremely clear.

I get that it's something someone his age might do. That doesn't mean you have to include the behavior and put it into your game without any real kind of pushback against its normalization. It's just such an eyeroll worthy sequence that comes off as a total cherry on top of the stupidity that is the whole game's cast of women.

It's perfectly reasonable to want to invest on someone you feel physically attracted to, doesn't mean you don't see them as human beings. Hell do you even see how people speak IRL? Girls "objectify" guys all the time too in casual conversation, I don't know in what alternative reality you live in but this is how perfectly normal and reasonable people interact.

Have to say that the best bros in the franchise is still Sabin Cyan and Gau. Three different personalities that have great moments of understanding each other. I feel Tabata might of had that in mind since he holds ff6 in such high regard. I can see where gladio character was meant to be coming from but it wasn't well presented. Brotherhood episodes really should have been incorporated in the main game.

Prompto is the kind of character that confuses infatuation with love, something a very large number of people have a problem with. He ate hopeless type. That doesn't make him a perv (he never talks about anything sexual) and it sure as hell doesn't make the game misogynistic.

Prompto didn't come off like a pig or anything...but it did bug me that I had to listen to conversations of him deciding between Aranea and Cindy. More of just an issue that I'd rather hear different conversation.

Yea true, it'd be like someone saying that Cindy's attire is okay because she chooses to wear that, completely ignoring the fact that she was created by male developers. At the end of the day, no one forced them to put that dialogue in there. And it certainly does stand out more concerning the roles of most of the women in the game, that I can't deny.
But as I said before, at the very least, I couldn't see them giving him the time of day; it would've been far more problematic if the two women were actually interested in him, because it'd look even more dickish of him to try deciding between the two of them. A scenario where a guy that's never had a girlfriend is pining over attractive women he'll likely never get? It's a pretty relatable thing. Also slightly helped that also his friends couldn't see it happening either, or hell, even see him end up with a girl anytime soon in general. And that it is goofy, harmless little Prompto, rather than some suave casanova contemplating which girl he wants to fuck or something. (But then again, you could easily play devil's advocate and argue that this is where it all starts lol)
Anyways, I don't really have any huge issue with it, compared to other things in this game at least. We've all perved out and have felt attraction before, both men and women, and what he said was relatively innocuous. (Plus as people have already pointed out, he's more attracted to Aranea being a badass if anything) I will say though that the short banter could've been "improved" by like, I dunno, having one or two of the guys directly chide him for it. (I could definitely see Ignis doing this) That way you get at least some "pushback against its normalization".
Though I suppose you'd much rather prefer it didn't exist at all to begin with, which is a fair stance as well.

I am 25 and I recently couldn't decide between two women who I am attracted to and had to talk to my friends. Deciding is not objectifying. It's deciding which one would you want to take things forwards with because both seem attractive physically and mentally. I was not in a committed relation with either of them and not deciding instead would be a bad thing instead. I don't know what world you live in but to think that having such confusion, thoughts.. no matter the age... is ridiculous is a very naive way of thinking..

I do think it's more infatuation than perversion. Of course it's still a form of objectifying, but that's a controversial topic on its own. The fact is this game readily promotes the male gaze and hyper-heterosexuality without acknowledging it in the serious context of the rest of the world, so it can seem like a blind spot, which is true of a lot of games (and anime-influenced games), too. But it never takes it too far, imo. Prompto is just more sensitive to the opposite sex and expresses it, albeit pathetically, maybe, and evocative of the harmful misogynist culture/mentality that forms the basis of a lot of toxic guys out there. But I think Prompto is more innocent than that.
Though let's not forget, he did sniff a letter with a 'girl's' scent (OMG!) in order to stay motivated to get fit, lol.

Regarding the corpses at the end, I get that Noct would be affected by seeing Luna, Regis, and Ravus hanging there...but Nyx? I might be wrong, but didn't Nyx have -zero- interaction with Noct in Kingsglaive, or at any point while he was alive?
I guess we're supposed to assume it's Ardyn showing off the corpses of people that opposed him, but Nyx being there seems like somewhat of a stretch other than trying to tie Kingsglaive into the game.
