They're actually on schedule, which is a miracle considering that it's a giant east coast tourney.
Spooky didn't fuck anything up. And Marvel got exactly the amount of stream time it was always supposed to.

It was never scheduled to be on any other stream today. CM didn't have an effect on it. This schedule was posted over a week ago.

Now, argue about the logic of running the top half of the top 64 rather than the bottom 32 all you want, but making allegations about Spooky, or trying to make it seem like that ShinBlanka isn't running his tournament/stream on time, is just crazy.

Didn't they had FOUR stream stations?! They could put Marvel at any of these other streams. No problem on putting Tekken on the main stream, but a popular game should be on a side stream at least

Blame is a strong word, but when the schedule lists something and that doesn't go according to plan, I don't think all of a sudden there isn't accountability for errors that occur. I don't mean blame in the persecution sense, but in what went wrong.

The other streams are streaming stuff too, something would still be bumped. Though I guess stuff could be run on Sixfortyfive's if he's running casuals.

Why do you keep saying this? According to the schedule, AE went to top 8 last night. Then what the fuck were the two hours of AE we just watched? As far as I know nothing else was going except for Tekken, I don't think you can really argue that Marvel wouldn't have been streamed instead of AE tonight...which happened because they weren't on schedule yesterday, because CM DID push AE off the secondary stream where it was supposed to be.

Why do most of those players trash marvel on twitter, stream and so forth? Why do players like jrosa, cjshowstopper and omgitzandre place high and still no one gives them their dues? Instead they're called frauds and it's more like a running gag. I dont need to respect Marvel because marvel players dont respect marvel.

And streaming the right matches is going to be a nightmare anyway unless you schedule time in a certain manner or get a dedicated stream. Problems all around. So yeah, everyone is gonna be complaining in some manner.

Stream 1 had KOF, TTT2, Marvel
Stream 2 had DOA, SFXT and AE
Stream 3 had anime games
Stream 4 had MK (dedicated I believe)
 
I think people are too spoiled these days. In the old pre evo days, we were lucky to have any form of results via IRC and VHS tapes were very, very rare.
 
Even if I like watching Tekken, I find 3/5 is too long for a 3/5 round game. Especially when someone already pointed that 1 match of TTT2 is longer than 1 match of Tekken 6.

I heard arguments like they wanted more time to adapt due to the presuposedly "randomness" of the game, but Japan and Korea don't seem to have a problem with 2/3 in that regard.

Oh right they were bopped early like they always are.

Players trash every game. Can't count the number of times Ricky has spewed salt over twitter or heard players complained about getting vortexed/unblockable to death.

Last time players hyped up a game it was SFxT... oh right.

I actually kinda wish they still put out DVDs; if they could somehow record a good chunk of offstream matches and put them on a disc along with everything on stream I would buy that shit. I'm assuming it has just gotten too weird legally for that though.
