metric is so 90's...

I saw 46 degrees with the rain symbol for London -wtf?- then I realised something must have happened when updated my extensions or something.

...

popupkiller (or whatever that beta extension is called) still hasn't been included. you will still need to download and install it separately.

it is still very beta.. currently I am just dying by it blocking legitimate javascript and flash popups. so then you enable the site because it has legitimate popups you need, and you get bombarded with ads.. ok, not bombarded, but ugggghh..

so you still have to download it separately.

Thanks for the heads up. Isn't FF supposed to let me know when updates are available? Blah.

Firefox let me know by having a little red icon next to the status icon in the upper right.

Also, I've NEVER seen any of these new-style ads. I don't know if my Norton Internet Security is blocking them, or what.

Yeah, I've seen it every once in a while (only I think it was blue), letting me know of an updated extension being available. But never the core browser itself.

it went red today for me, and told me both browser updates and extention updates were available.

First time I've ever noticed it, and I've been using Firefox for months.

Check the advanced settings under options and make sure it checks for browser updates as well as extension updates.
