How do I fix this? Is there even a way to fix it?[/QUOTE]
it could be a problem with the theme.
does it do it when you're just using the normal one?
How is that a concern? RAM is meant to be used, and with 4GB it's definitely enough unless you do a lot of photo/video editing; but then again you should probably not use that laptop for those things.cool_dude_2049 said:I just installed it, and I've been an avid FF user but I ditched it for chrome when 3.6 was getting way too slow. I have to say that I like it so far. The pages load a lot faster, even faster than chrome. Gifs load a lot smoother too. My only concern is that Chrome used 17% of my RAM and FF4 uses 32%. I have 4gigs on my laptop btw.
I just tried that, it still does it.D4Danger said:it could be a problem with the theme.

Options -> Toolbar Layout... You can drag all the buttons around as you want them.Jin34 said:Is there a way to put the home and refresh button in their classic positions?

I have 8GB. and the concern isn't about how much RAM Firefox uses in a vacuum. It's about how much it uses relative to other demanding applications that may need a lot of ram.mclaren777 said:I keep hearing concern about memory footprint.
How little RAM do you guys have that web surfing is a problem?
fortunately, Opera uses around 70% less RAM, I've found.GhostRidah said:Ram should not be a issue, all browser use massive ram, heck my chrome was just using 2gb, good thing I have 8gb so I really dont care.

Is the app button that plus sign? Is that what you want to get rid of? Because if so you just have to disable the conduit engine thing in the add-ons.WanderingWind said:That makes it useful. It's going to take some time getting used to it, but it's a bit better, IMO.
Transitions are so jarring.sinxtanx said:How can nobody have mentioned Tab Groups yet?
Ctrl + Shift + E, people.
I will say this: I love tab groups, and they are the reason I'm not using Chrome right now.
Don't think so at the moment.Lkr said:is there a 64 bit version for windows?
