What I did was right click on the word Bookmarks, then select Menu Bar.Expendable. said:Anyway to remove the graphic icons next to my bookmarks in the toolbar? They all don't fit on one tab bar now.

I'm already using max zoom before the text becomes bold. It's just that it's much smaller now that before.Big Ass Ramp said:ctrl + scroll wheel up
Sorry what, how?Milpool said:Mine defaulted to £ but I changed the url in the OP from en-US to en-GB, you can probably do what BitchTits said.

It doesn't look great but at least there's room for all my bookmarks now.

Hrm. There isn't an easy way to download if I find it as much of a pain as early versions of 3, is there?Zombie James said:Definitely.
No mine definitely looks round.kharma45 said:Anyone elses back button look squished like mine? Installed FF4 on a friends laptop today too and it looks like this.

I would say close to everyone. I disabled that shit immediately.will52 said:Some fonts look kinda blurry/pixelated to me. I read that this may be due to the new hardware acceleration feature. Anyone else experience this?
RiverBed said:Go to 'Bookmarks' and select 'Bookmark All Tabs'. Just save it anywhere (bookmarks menue, toolbar, whatever). Install FF4 and re-open that bookmark file with a single click. It'll take a little bit to download everything again if you are on a slow connection, but it won't be that bad.
I can tell you that I had no issue and that I'm running an NVidia card.Zombie James said:Just wondering, is everyone who's having terrible looking fonts running ATI cards? I think it might be a driver thing.
nah on a nvidia and it looks equally bad.Zombie James said:Just wondering, is everyone who's having terrible looking fonts running ATI cards? I think it might be a driver thing.

Nope. No sandboxing in Firefox yet.dream said:Does Firefox 4 load each tab in a separate process a la Chrome?
Yeah, decided to take the jump after learning about how easy the uninstall process is. The only thing that seems to be broken for me is the Dragon Age facebook flash game. It's basically unplayable for some reason.Big Ass Ramp said:Yeah! I really like it. Less UI clutter and it is snappier overall.
ScOULaris said:I remember the early days of Chrome when the absence of extensions made me stick to Firefox. Once Chrome opened up its extensions gallery, however, there was no looking back. Now, aside from various speed/usability advantages that Chrome has IMO, there are extensions for Chrome that have no equal in Firefox.
Here are some Chrome extensions that I can't live without and have no Firefox equivalent:
- Google Mail Checker Plus
- Google Tasks
There are some others that work better in Chrome than in Firefox, but those two are the ones that simply have no equivalent Firefox add-on.
But regardless of what extensions are being used, Chrome has grown into a much superior browser to Firefox IMO. It's faster, more standards-driven, and has better extensions and built-in features (native user script support, PDF reader, built-in Flash that auto-updates... etc.) than Firefox or pretty much any other browser. Don't flame me, Opera users...
I've been able to do that for years. It really depends on if you map your middle mouse button as "Button 3" and not something else.Deadstar said:One thing I really like about the new browser is that you can click the middle mouse button on a link to open it in a new tab. I'm not sure if previous versions of Firefox did this but I just started using it. My middle mouse button is a little wonky.
Does anyone know how to remap that function to a different mouse button?
lol I think that has been there since the browser was called Phoenix.Deadstar said:One thing I really like about the new browser is that you can click the middle mouse button on a link to open it in a new tab.
