I know this is inappropriate before I even say it, but the game looks just like another COD/MOH/BiA game. Nothing about the screens shown thus far hint at the utter insanity that is Wolfenstein. I'll wait for some in-game footage before I get excited.

Ugh. I hoped I was wrong. I fear for the game already and especially the console versions.

Don't judge a game based on its engine.

Hell, Call of Duty 4 is still based on the Quake 3 engine (Quake3 -> Call of Duty -> Call of Duty 2 -> Call of Duty 4). Seems to be doing just fine.

Also, the game looks good, but I'm not amazed by it. In my eyes, there are a lot better titles coming out.

Though, here's to hoping they have another great MP component!

Hey you remeber Quake 4? That game done by Raven with the Doom 3 engine. It was supposed to be the return of Q3 multiplayer and that turned out alright. OH WAIT IT DIDN'T!

As already said I am pretty sure I have already seen some of those shots a while ago and I hope they changed to id tech 5...

Quake 4's multiplayer was actually really awesome. The game just wasn't that popular.

Because they started development on this years ago. It's a heavily modified Doom 3 engine (like every other Doom 3 engine game save Doom 3 itself).
