People are complaining about how much other people lift? Gym isn't easy, building a strong body isn't easy either. Actually, nothing about working out and improving yourself physically and mentally is easy.
I remember when I used to start working out, I'd accuse people of roids all the time because I wasn't seeing any progress with my 5 day a week full body workouts (lol). It wasn't until I started reading about how many sets per week, diet and rest that I started seeing decent gains. It took me a year and a half into my goiong gym before I even attempted squats or deadlifts because I was too scared (uh.. I hate admitting it, but its true lol).
Now, I'm 5'11'', 92kg (202lbs) at around 9% bodyfat, and I'm pretty happy with where my physique is at the moment. I'm not a showpony either, I don't have photos of me topless, posing on my FB, I workout for myself and myself only, I don't need to showpony.
At the moment, I kind of train for strength and eat at around maintenance calories so I don't put on too much bodyfat.
This isn't me bragging either, just someone who was lost and confused for the longest time at gym, and didn't see any results until I started reading and working on a decent diet (I'm still not the best at it, nor do I care). I even take less supplements now than when I started (I only have 1 protein shake per day, and take a preworkout, and some fishoils. Thats it).
Gym is hard. And often, can be disheartening, especially looking at pictures of people on the net with amazing physiques and in magazines.
