I know I don't have to worry about this for quiiiite a while, but how does one figure out their 1RMs, and how do you work that into your typical workout schedule?
There are methods to extrapolate your 5RM / 3RM into a 1RM but the most accurate way is to just do it (with a spotter). As to how to work it into your schedule, what program are you doing?
Ah, I had no idea those things existed. Will be a nice way to guess here in a few months. Currently on week 7 of SL5x5, so 3 times a week is my current schedule.

Put 5 in the drop down and enter the weight you do with 5 reps. It's not 100% accurate but it gives you a general idea of what you should be able to do with your 1RM

The other day I could put up 115lbs on my flat bench 5 times, but failed at 135. It said my 1RM was 132.

Every day. It's something that builds in your muscles rather than something that has an effect only on a workout.

You know you done fucked up when you struggle to eat an extra meal at night and your daily caloric intake is still somewhere around 2300.
Working from home today as I was up late in the ER last night (100% all good now), cooking a mountain of brown rice, eyeing potatoes. FML.
Paresthesia is what it's called. Harmless. Most people take about 4g daily in smaller doses. People usually start feeling paresthesia around 1.5g - I've taken 6g at once a few times. My daily is 4. You get used to the feeling but that 6 had me like :OOh you were serious. That uhh..sounds terrible.

The chief issue I have with high fat foods are that they are so dense in calories yet they simply don't satiate me.

Dinner was fantastic. Half a chicken, over cheese grits and a fried egg, with a side of pickled asparagus. Appetizer of goat cheese gnocchi. Dessert consisting of 4 scoops of coffee ice cream topped with brownies, chocolate covered espresso beans, whipped cream and a shot of cold espresso.
Oh and a side of chocolate covered bacon.
I. Am. Stuffed!
Definitely making these calories count the next few days. I expect some good lift sessions.
