Looking back there were many problems for pep
1. Heynckes winning the triple which caused huge expectations
2. all the injuries. especially thiago. first pep said he will be his most important player and then he just got injured, injured and injured
3. sammer being sammer. he helps bayern but im not sure if pep like his way
4. buying götze instead of neymar
And since the defeat against Madrid he definitely has a certain stigma on him.

You guys bought the experience we should have bought. Guardado and De Jong make a big difference. And Wijnaldum of course, but he was already there.

Only Guardado to be fair. I think he wants to stay (with CL football) and we can buy him for a few million.
Rekik is probably going to be sold to some midtable club in England, Spain or Italy. Depay will be sold for 30, Wijnaldum for 15-20. We need to start all over. They will spend the money though, that's one thing I'm not afraid of.

De Jong will solve a lot of your problems. Don't really like Emanuelson. Maxwell isn't going to leave PSG.

And about Maxwell, his contract is running out in june. So there's always a chance. PSG have said they're interested in renewing it, but that was back in november. Nothing happened between the player and the club since then. Only downside is that he's one of Raiola's men. And we're not on good terms with that slimy fuck.

the contract negotiation didn't help either. Like you said I think the start of the season was a hangover from The Slip and Gerrard's toxic attitude affected the whole team. Now everyone knows he'll be #StevieGalaxy in a few they can finally move on.
