2 is fucking great. Closest we've come to a real Resi 4 sequel.

I thought the first had some good ideas, but was ultimately incredibly repetitive. The narrative was poor and the mute lead didn't help.
Fantastic visuals and HUD though. Just top notch and only surpassed by their sound design team. Really creepy atmosphere they developed with a 6.1 surround sound setup. That's really the only good thing I have to say about the original Dead Space.

Bought the 1st on release for the PS3 and played the 2nd on PC and PS+ the last one.
GQman is spot on, the first was the most fresh in the survival horror mould but I think corporate wanted something with a bit more mass appeal so they turned the subtlety and atmosphere down and dialled the spectacle to 11.
the final game and TR 2013 are completely interchangeable I think both devs have a case for plagiarism against the other.

Tomb Raider was solid. Not much depth though in all areas of the game. They played it very safe.

brown grey insipid filth. Best thing about it is there are no loading screens.
Lifeless, artless, badly written badly acted by the numbers beige boredom packed neatly into a 12 hour slog through the same set of unremarkable set pieces and uninspired combat sections with characters as dull as the environments they waddle through. Any attempt at depth is giggle some with lara going from head girl to hannibal lecter all within the space of one of Carbo's shits.
