Tbh I think Rooney is in bother now. Van Gaal clearly doesn't think much of him as a striker if he won't play him up front despite our other options being so poor at the moment. Get in some proper midfielders in the summer and that leaves him without a proper place in the squad. It's funny though as LvG has said in th elastic how much he rates him.

Dunno about that. How long do you think RVP has left? Best years clearly behind him. Can't see Falcao staying given his cost compared to his performance. Rooney seems more secure than either of them.

Falcon is 75% dead, RVP is fully dead, he's beyond dead. At least Falcon can still move and will attempt to make runs despite no one ever noticing them or attempting to make the pass. Di Maria is the lone man trying to make things happen while old man Persie and the other midfielders sit around like turds. There is no fucking movement or effort in this team in the final third. We play it wide for what? so we can cross it in to two men who have no ability to jump.
