The Premier League starts tomorrow so any signups after will of course lose the chance to earn points from those missed weeks. You can still join in at any time though if you wish.

So the season starts tomorrow for the Premier League, let's see some predictions. Top 6 and bottom 3 teams, FA Cup, Carabao cup & Champions League winners....

I'll start:

Top 6:

Arsenal
Chelsea
Liverpool
Man City
Man Utd
Spurs

Bottom 3:

Sunderland
Brentford
Burnley

FA Cup - Man City
Carabao - Liverpool
UCL - Real Madrid
You're predicting us winning the league? Damn, that's nice. Although everyone going for Liverpool

My top 6:

Arsenal
Liverpool
Chelsea
City
Newcastle
United

Bottom 3:

Brentford
Wolves
Burnley

Liverpools backline is shambolic. Slot with questionable subs too

Managed to get the win though and this what matters. Great start to the new season! Can't wait for United away on Sunday

Can't see them defending the title with that kinda performance. Bournemouth are a mid-table team and almost got a draw at Anfield. On top of losing to Palace. I think 3rd is a likely outcome, regardless of whether they get Isak.

Great second goal by Semenyo, fluky first goal by Ekitike.

Haaland ... 14 pts, but looks like he's gonna be worth it.

Less so with Konza.... 👀
Liverpool look entertaining to watch but defencely terrible. Also Wirtz was a ghost.

Oscar Bobb is my favourite up-and-coming player if he can bounce back.

Mcatee to forest is also one to watch, England's midfield is stacked.

Chelsea for an outside bet for the title.

Also wtf with a retarded disabled Liverpool fan giving large with the racial abuse.

Rooney will never be personable.

Drag n Drive is the sports game up for grabs btw.

Just some random thoughts.

The incident with Semenyo was appalling. A man who should know better due to his age and also his disability (he's probably been subject to comments in his life). I really hope them go hard on him or this shit won't end.

Just got back to watch the games this afternoon, reading that Hojlund isn't in the United squad so it looks like he's on his way out.

Oscar Bobb seems to be held in high regard by Pep, but I've not seen enough of him to form an opinion. But I do wonder if McAtee could be another Palmer (IE, a mistake to sell).

Wirtz definitely isnt looking like a £115m player but I'll reserve full judgement for a few more games to see how he settles, it's a very different league and many high profile players struggle... Like Antony. :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Drag n Drive... Is that a Switch 2 wheelchair basketball game? (According to my Google search).

Disallowing that.

That was harsh, imo.

I thought it was because of the pushing by Guehi but apparently not...

Referee announcement: "After review, away number six is less than one metre away from the wall as the shot is taken. Therefore, it's an indirect free kick and a disallowed goal".

Seems like an odd rule? Surely they just need to be far enough from the ball when struck?

Having watched 2 and a half prem games on sky I am absolutely sick of their shitty little goat jingle. Who the fuck thought that was needed when they go to adverts?

This is so unfair to Amorim...we are clearly playing better (and better than arsenal) but they just dont have any luck for fucks sake...

Decent first half from United. Probably the better of the two teams, pity that they're behind but there's positive signs there. Cunha and Mbeumo look promising, looking forward to seeing how they link up with a proper striker like Sesko, maybe he'll be able to come on in the second half.

Bore fest.

Forest v Brentford had more atmosphere.

Remember the Wenger / Fergie games were awesome, this was crap.

I will take the 3 points from Old Trafford thank you. Arsenal were horrible in every aspect and that's nowhere near the level they can play

Gyokeres attacked spaces very very well but of course, not a single good ball got delivered to him. It will take time to get used to playing with a striker in this team and it's understandable

United were better overall but if you only boot the ball to Mbeumo and hope for something while you can't score, it won't work all the time. But kudos to them, they showed up while we didn't at all but still got the 3 points.

This classic popped up on my YouTube feed earlier, worth a watch for anyone that's not seen it. :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Worst game of the weekend so far, can't see much changing in the final 20 mins either.

Edit: Not a penalty for me. What's he meant to do with his arm? Cunha being tackled from behind yesterday was more of a penalty shout.

He's been told to hide his arms out of the way so as he does it naturally sticks out more at the top because humans can't dislocate them and dangle them on their backs. The ball then hits his majority hidden arm and it's still a pen? Time to hire amputees only for defenders.

When does the transfer window closes?

curious to see if martinez starts with villa tomorrow.

it would be great if we could still could get a good GK (losing donurama was such a failure!!) and a midfielder.

Looks like there's still potentially something going on with Lammens.

Considering how well they did last season, this is a curious one.
Said his relationship with Marinakis is none-existent publicly.

To you and me, nothing but to old Evangilos where respect is commanded, not earned maybe he'll pull the trigger.

Seen them linked with Mourinho, talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire. If he doesn't get on with Nuno, Jose won't be any better.
