Really liked the first season of Les Revenents. The second half of it less so than the first. The story doesn't really go anywhere for a while.

Sounds like Mr. MUJAC wrote that. He's always going on about that "Youth player has started for United since so and so" statistic. I like his insight, but he also isn't critical enough towards youth players.
It would have been lame to see Januzaj on loan. It made no sense. Januzaj was better than Pogba at youth level and Fergie stated in 2011, that he was not going to send Pogba on loan because he was good enough to play for the first team. As we all know, Fergie went on to contradict himself. I said it from the start that Januzaj was good enough to play for United because of the consistency he showed at youth level, something that I can't say about any other United youth player.
I always thought that Januzaj went on tour with United because Fergie talked to Moyes about him. I'm surprised that didn't happen. I'm slightly disappointed that it took a first team player to drop out in order for him to go on tour considering Lingard went on tour. It looks like Moyes favors older youth players.

I don't understand why the media are so intent on rubbishing Ozil so much. We're joint leaders in the PL, goal difference, having played all the top teams in the PL and Ozil is in his first PL season where we play so many games quickly and yet he gets hounded after every game lately. It takes time to adjust to the physicality, pace, pressure of the PL and it's just absurdity of the highest order some of the stuff being written. From GAF you expect that because the people here enjoy taking the piss and doing wind ups but the guy needs people to get off his case. It also doesn't help Wenger asking him to play every game knowing it's his first season and he's still adjusting.

No Salazar. Fellaini has been in the league for many years and is under performing. There is no adjustment required, no new manager, league etc. it just hasn't worked out for him yet. Ozil is not Fabregas/Ramsey who run all over the pitch even when not playing well dictating and trying to control the game or create something. He is a pure attacking player who drifts in and out of games influencing them as he goes most of the time and that's how he's always been.
It's not laziness, it's a style of play that's very effective most of the time. Ozil doesn't get injured, Fabregas tries to do so much by himself he injures himself in the process. Arsenal are a much better team with Ozil on the field just by the fact that he's there, you take him out and you'll see the glaring difference.

They all made more or less the same amount of tackles/etc this season. They can be a liability, sure, but they can also unlock the game with a moment of brilliance.
Which is why Mou prefers players like Oscar I guess.

I was at wrok duting the match, and was really quite annoyed that I had to miss it when I found out it was to be on a Monday :lol
Feels nice to be at the top at Christmas, but pretty meaningless given the almost negligible gap between 1st and 5th, and 2 fixtures we have to round off the first half of the season. In a way, it makes me even more pissed off in restrospect at the SOuthampton and Hull matches. Should be 6 points clear. Still, can't complain too much
