Wonder if Shinji will leave in the summer. You've got Rooney and now Mata who's best position is behind the striker...maybe he'll have to just play consistently well on the left.

Exciting times ahead for Utd fans. I remember feeling so excited when we signed Ozil, look how well he has done for us :D

:lol don't do that to yourself

We can do whatever we want right now. We're covered in a blanket made of Mata. This is as comfy as you can get.

Where would Shinji even go? Close BVB sources say there's no chance of a return after Micky has signed. The United move basically killed his career in the sense that whatever club wants to sign him would be a step down, he might as well stay another year or two and hope for some kind of miracle.

People are only considering playing time with Shinji. If he moves to another club he has to accept the wages too. I think he'll stay due to wanting the wages he has at United.

Probably why his agent said he wants to stay.

Schalke are pulling some nice business if they sell Draxler for something around 40M euros.

They already signed Sidney Sam for €2.5M, who I would say is better (when in form) than Draxler, and they have Max Meyer who is 100x more talented than Draxler.

I'd have him as a No. 10 at Tottingham if Eriksen wasn't here. Might as well stay and hope Young, Valencia and Nani are flogged off somewhere.

This transfer window went mental.
It's brilliant.

Up until Tuesday, I reckon most United fans thought that the most we could hope for was Coentrao. Now we've just about completed the signing of one of the best attacking players in the Premier League.

And Pool fans have replaced us as the ones begging for new signings and becoming increasingly vexed and the clubs reluctance to spend what's necessary.

Jupp pls

They are broke as fuck and have no other choice than to sell him, they even took €15m from their supporters last summer. Selling Draxler is not a decision, it's a necessity. Just like they'll need to sell Meyer in a few years.

Why do we really need a striker in January when our midfield gets so many goals? Look at Chelsea for example, their strikeforce is so shit, but they still win games.

Yep, I know that. Still is a nice business to sell him for that much, I don't see why that kid is so hyped, and they could get him for less considering Schalke situation

Why the fuck do people want to get rid of Kagawa?

Valencia, Nani and Young should all be gone before Shinji.

Mata Kagawa Januzaj behind Rooney.

"David Moyes was escorted into Borussia Monchengladbach's stadium by Toni Kroos' agent on Friday night after being alerted to a contract stand-off between the Germany midfielder and his Bayern Munich bosses.

Bayern striker Mario Mandzukic and Moenchengladbach midfielder Patrick Herrmann were believed to be the two main points of interest for the Manchester United manager when he booked his seat at Borussia Park for last night Bundesliga fixture, which the visitors won 2-0.

But while both are under review at Old Trafford, Kroos has dramatically emerged as a viable target after his representative Sascha Breese, from the Sports Total agency, met Moyes and coaches Phil Neville and Steve Round and sat with them at the game.

At 24 and with a stack of Germany caps to his name, Kroos is a perfect fit for the area of United's team in most urgent need of improvement, and the Germany midfielder could be prised away after stalling over a new deal at the Allianz Arena.
His current deal runs out at the end of next season, and Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge admitted: 'It is always about money in every agreement, and talks have so far failed to lead to a new contract for Toni. We are interested in prolonging his stay with us.'

This should give you a better idea of why Arsenal fans went batshit crazy over the Ozil signing. You guys hadn't signed a world class player in a season in a half. Arsenal hadn't in a longggggg time.

I agree. How the hell is he valued at the same price as Mata when Mata is more of a complete product.

I honestly think we are over-reaching requesting more out of this window, a Mata buy and a Rooney contract in January is absurd business given the window and the summer we had. Im still in shock this Mata thing is actually going over the line, I wont believe it until I see him play.

Schalke is utterly fucked. They have no choice.

Imagine if they miss out on CL football :lol

We should make them a 5m offer for Meyer :lol

But Schlacke and good business doesn't work together. Remember, they just spent a lot of money on a player with a fucked up knee that most likely won't have any resale value. And "cheap" players like Sam are on ridiculously high wages which will eventually lead to them still being broke as fuck. The club is properly fucked from the bottom and would not exist in its current form if it wasn't for Tönnies giving all his Bratwurst money to the club.

The Mata signing is brilliant, and I'm over the moon about it. But it still doesn't excuse management from last summers disaster. There's still a hell of a lot of money to be spent before we can compete for titles again, but this is a start.

That would be a brilliant attack, interchanging with each other would be even better.

But Moyes might not deviate from that wing play nonsense.
