Our new #10

De Sciglio has been great today. I still can't believe that he's homegrown and we had the patience to keep him. At least one side of our backline is fine for the next 15 years. So good.
God, I miss El Shaarawy so much.

Same. I also missed Pazzini, we don't have another striker that scores like him.

I really really hope that Seedorf finds a way to have both El Shaa and Balo on the pitch, they could be amazing together.

Quiche, what do you think of Matic so far? i didn't see the first 30 minutes of the match.

He seemed to misplace like 3 or 4 easy passes but he is so much better then Mikel/Luiz at tackling in front of the defence. I am sure it will end up being him and Ramires in the pivot come next season!

Some games have an open sale I see at their website, Vitesse - AZ for example.

What dates?

To the surprise of no one, Tagliavento ruined another game today.

El Sha would be perfect for Seedorf's 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3. We really need a proper winger there, someone who can help out in both phases and in transition (ie. not Robinho). I'm sure Clarence sees this and is counting the days until El Sha's return.

There's surely no way Benfica would sell him in this window after selling Matic?

he's the next Rui Costa, just watch. crazy good pass accuracy and technique.

He's been good. Game in general has been very easy so far so it may not mean much.

nice.

Vitesse - AZ is february fourth. Only open sale game listed at the moment.

To be honest, I think it's easier to arrange tickets for Vitesse in Amsterdam or Rotterdam. What would you want to do in Arnhem on your own anyways? :p

I just wanted to try and see them this season but that is too soon :/

Does Milan have money to spend this summer?

Nope, unless Napoli dies and we somehow steal third place again. No CL = no money. Berlucunt's won't spend shit to fund transfers out of his personal money anymore.

We'll probably downsize a bit in the summer. Everyone's wages will get reduced, we'll ship off some deadwood (a la Nocerino and Matri), and start over by promoting some youth players and bringing in some free transfers (a la Rami, Honda, Kaka, etc.)

We play Vitesse in Arnhem on the sixth of april. But I have no idea if I would be able to get ticks and the train ride to Arnhem will cost me a fortune so I have to see if I can make that :p

But I'll check their agenda from time to time to see if new open sales pop up.

Why not? He'll offer something different from Giroud and he's quite good with dead balls? Is it because of his off the pitch antics?
How much different? We need a Striker that can run in behind and stretch defensive lines. I never saw Balotelli do that for Man City. Plus we have dead ball specialists already.

I could make that one for sure! so just keep checking :p

Nailed the Suarez stuff over the summer.

Schalke need a replacement though. I don't think it will happen in this window.

We'll see, money talks. It depends on how far we're willing to go. I don't think we should be paying more that 30 million pounds.

Even if Salah was theoretically only worth the £8 million or whatever we were prepard to pay, then that raises it's own questions as to why our main transfer target this January was a budget player in an area of the pitch where we already have a reasonable amount of depth?

The Times has a list of the players they say United are very interested in.

Full Back: Shaw, Piszczek

Midfield: Pogba, Vidal, Strootman, Hermann

Attack: Reus, Mandzukic

Wow not bad at all, Chelsea are really on track for ffp compliance, esp if the let go of Lampard, Terry and Cole in the summer. Frees up quite a bit of money.

FFP doesn't include players wages if their contract was signed before FFP came into effect, I can't quite recall how exactly it works, but since those guys have been at Chelsea for ages, their wage bills won't be included in FFP.

Is there a limit on how many players you can sign on loan? Everton trying to sign Canales
on loan.

There is indeed, it counts foreign and domestic loans separately. I think it's 2 on loan and 1 on a loan to buy deal for both domestic and foreign leagues. So 6 in total potentially.

Strootman will go if you make a decent offer, this is how they roll. Same for Mandzukic!

half the list seems like a waste of time and plane tickets.

Balotelli can do all that. Remember Euro 2012? He's not just a target man, he drifts to the flanks, takes on defenders and is certainly alot quicker than Giroud or Podolski.

As a footballer, he (and the likes of Cavani) is pretty much perfect for this midfield because he has everything Giroud has plus pace, skill and goals from any distance. The only question is his attitude. If Balotelli behaves under Seedorf the way he does under Prandelli then he has to be considered imo.

How did he do today?
