Truth is, no one outside football-gaf cares about german domestic football, and other than feeling sympathy for Ronaldo, we're only interested in Madrid when Pepe and Ramos deliver the lol's.

Dortmund, Arsenal, Juve and Barca are the only relevant options as they bring meaning and life to the sport; they are truly the people's champions.

Madrid clearly has the money, but why the fuck would you pay it all upfront when you can do so in payments?

Ill explain it to you once again

Madrid owes Tottenham 70-80m -----> Tottenham wants money now ----> Deutsche Bank gives money to Tottenham and Spurs transfer RM debt to them -----> Spanish banks buy debt from DB -----> Madrid pays spanish banks in the originally accorded timeframe

If Tottenham couldn't hold it in and wanted 100m that's their problem. Madrid is sticking with the contract and paying in 2014, 2015, 2016. At no point in time has Madrid asked for a 100m credit to any bank in order to pay off the ape, which undoubtedly carries a different interest rate than what the current deal now is.

I don't pretend to understand economics whatsoever, but the deal is pretty clear. If you wanna be thick about it, be my guest. But at least learn what a loan actually entails. Your "basically"'s mean shit.

Do you understand the concept of promissory note?

Madrid didn't asked a single loan in this case. They basically accorded to pay Bale transfer in 4 years and 2013 payment was the first one. So basically those 3 promissory notes for the next years were on DB, but Levy needed all the money to do their own transfers so they went to DB and said:"Hey since we are gonna get all this money in 3 years, why don't you gives it us now ?" and DB was like:"Well is a fuckton of money better make sure that Madrid can pay us" so they asked Madrid bank pools and they said:"No problem dude! Madrid will surely do their yearly payments!" and so DB gave Spurs the money.

There was no loan since Madrid didn't asked for money all they did is:"Hey, here's a paper saying we will pay you in 2014,2015,2016!"

Exactly what I explained to him with very, very limited knowledge of economics, but I like to think I'm bright enough to understand what a fucking monetary loan is.

Moyes deserved blame too. Not just Woodward. Moyes' target was Fabregas. Fabregas. How the fuck did he expect Woodward to get that done after Barca had just sold Thiago? Good luck getting Barca to sell both in the same window.

It's been confirmed that isn't happening. People are basing this on a Sky Sports Germany tweet. Apparently it was just a hypothetical question.

Good. I think this whole thing was brought up in the summer as well, really don't want to see him go.

I think he should get more games here as well with the fixture list we have coming up, move Cazorla out on the right and stick him on the left.

getting rid of Podolski this window would be suicidal, given Walcott's injury and the mere existence of Bendtner

if anything, bringing in yet another attacking midfielder might force Wenger to play him up top a little more often

Guardian says we were offered Ozil in the first week of the transfer market but turned him down because Moyes wanted a better idea of the players he currently had at his disposal.

Daniel Taylor also says we're unlikely to sign anyone else thus transfer window as Shaw prefers a move to Chelsea and United's scouts were left "confused" as to whether on not Guarin was any good.
