Not enough. Need 5 minimum. Firstly to replace the players we will lose but also because this has to become Moyes team. He needs players there who have come to the club to play for him.

We need more than two, but - it's probably just me, people can just ignore me or I'll stay out of the conversation! - I just see no need for doom mongering yet. This season's a write off. If Moyes brings in someone of Kroos' calibre in centre midfield, then that's a positive sign. I don't think we'll fail to replace Vidic and Rio in the slightest; whether or not it'll be the players we want or whether they're less than world class, there's no need for me to be discussing that right now as there's absolutely no concrete links around concerning that (besides the usual Garay stuff; I'm sure he's signed for us eight times by now).

If we need five players, I think we'll get that, maybe one less. But I think the manager and the owners realise there is a job to do there, and they'll do it. They can't risk missing out on the CL again.

What I'm more concerned about is the upcoming games against Liverpool and Olympiakos, whether we go back to Valencia + Young + Clev or stick with what's served us well the last few PL games. That to me is a more immediate indictment of Moyes and where he wants to take us.

Fuck this u21 team. They play too much like Arsenal.


They need to give James Wilson more of the ball. He has so much talent. Pereira needs to try through balls more often. Pearson needs to be more adventurous on the ball. Varela and Janko kind of get in each other's way and don't really work well together, but that's to be expected as they are both rbs.

It's not doom-mongering, it's just the reality of the situation. We need a number of players. We need a LB, maybe even a back up LB. We need a CB. You could argue we need a better back up RB. We need a CM or two. Possibly a winger.

There is alot of work to do and tbh, not sure why you have confidence the men in charge will get it done - they might do, but they hardly inspire confidence. Now that might be classed as doom-mongering, but it's only natural to be wary at this stage.

Because I think they've rested on their laurels so far with "it's Fergie" and "we're Manchester United", but look at January; we spent 40m on a player we didn't really need because we realised something needed to be done. I think people are aware something still needs to be done. I have faith we'll address something.

I see Titanfall is getting some good reviews. Amazed they aren't higher though, given how hard the gaming media have been sucking Respawn's and Microsoft's cock over it for months.

Shows really, as bad as the media can be in football at times, it's a world away from just how fucking appalling and agenda driven gaming "press" is.

In a world where people are excited for dross like Infamous SS I'm not surprised titanfall is well liked. Just accepting I find most of the shit of way less quality than everyone else seems to. The shooting in the beta was not very satisfying, the wall running? Kind of cool, but that was it. The titans? Just boring. Overall it felt like a mod to a CoD game with shitty bots that adds nothing.

I'm not saying it's not, it looks like a lot of fun and I'll definitely be getting it on either Pc, or when I get an XB1.

That being said, the games press over the last 6 months or so would have had you believe that this thing had GOTY 2014 already sewn up beyond all doubt. Some of the hyperbole thrown about for this thing was mind blowing for what turned out to be just a pretty decent overall fps.

Aren't you the guy that really liked Saint's Row 4 though?

Infamous (2) was a really solid open world game, I'm sure Infamous SS will be alright as well.

I liked the first 8 hours until my game crashed during a mission and I couldn't be bothered to re-do it, cause it was a really shitty mission. Had way more fun with the Saints Row character creator alone, than all the time I've spent with Infamous.

In the interim, it will be Sergei Semak (who was playing for us just last year) in charge for next game against CSKA. Actual replacement, I would place my bets on Kurban Berdyev, who had been managing Rubin Kazan for over decade before they stupidly fired him. He would definitely be able to sort out our shitty defending, plus we have a bunch of his ex-Rubin players.

Also wouldn't rule out us making a run at AVB since Hulk's fat ass loves him so much.
