25mil is an awful lot for a 28 year old though. But I'm not against it, better to use the money on that than yet another useless winger like Salah or Moses.

"Oh yeah and we got this lazy twat Rooney we signed up for the remainder of his career, sorry".

Klopp will drop him for his baby

I don't know where that's from, but lol.

This Match of the Day panel is awful.

Kevin Kilbane is more boring than Michael Owen. Danny Mills just comes across as an utter twat.

Remember how despondent we all were when we didn't sign Konoplyanka?

He'll be ours in the summer anyway. Isn't there rumours of an £8m release clause in the summer? Wouldn't surprise me if we have sown up the deal already.

Once you see him running down the defensive line and getting the ball, you will see he is worth the money. He is really special. Works a lot during the game. He's not like Gomez - only standing around and waiting.

Would be in favour of taking a punt on Mandzukic if we didn't already have Giroud and Sanogo.

Three donkeys is too many.

Struggling to think who Arsenal would realistically target in the summer. Benzema was the obvious choice, but not sure Madrid would sell now he's playing well. Don't think you'll get Cavani or Falcao.

Maybe Costa if Chelsea get one of the above?

What the fuck is all this about Roy wanting to call up Morgan Schneiderlin for England?

Great player, but I wouldn't want to see him get Hodged.

I don't like the idea of foreigners playing for England, or representing us. Different when it's someone like Mo Farah who moved here at what, 10? Had all his formative years here, went to school here.

Different when it's someone like Kevin Pietersen (although at least he had an English mum) or Schneiderlin. Would rather we didn't.

How about Januzaj?

Jack, is that you?

It's impossible for foreigners to play for England unless they recieved 5 years of education in England before age 18. Same goes for Januzaj. He can't play no matter what.

The rules have to change in order for a foreigner to play due to the Home Nations Agreement.

Well then why the fuck is there talk of Schneiderlin getting called up :S

Those rules are good by the way. I find it absolutely bizarre that Pietersen at the age of 17/18 could just decide he wanted to play for England.

I know he didn't until he's a bit older, but I don't believe there's such a thing as English blood - I don't believe he's half-English just because his mum is, I don't believe I'm half-Irish just because my father is.

I think Wilshere was spot on. People jumped on his back over people like Farah but he's a different case than Schneiderlin would be.

Madrid won't sell Benzema because he's Perez's darling, most importantly.

Cavani won't be for sale, Falcao is long-term injured (plus maybe 40), Costa is going to Chelsea.

Despite our intentions, we're probably going to end up with fuck all. Who's available like?

Media doesn't know the rules.

It's the same rule that kept Angel Rangel from playing for Wales.

Morata and RVP would be nice.

Morgan is trying to put the hurry up on Deschamps.

The fact Capoue has 7 caps, Mavuba has 9, Gonalons 6 and Schneiderlin 0 is a damn shame.

Wenger can try and steal Benteke.

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much
No idea how Spurs didn't get at least a point.

If Chadli had scored one of those two chances we'd have won, unfortunately the Europa caught up with us from 70 minutes onwards and the game petered out.

We played well up to a point but just didn't have the end product and haven't all season, we have to stop playing Eriksen on the left. Chadli did quite well when he ran with the ball but he just doesn't have the incisiveness of Eriksen, if he had been in a couple of those positions he would have scored or assisted without doubt. We still don't know our best team and it shows, we need a full pre-season to sort this stuff out.

No idea what Interim Tim was doing there, why Eriksen out wide? It makes no sense.

RVP can do one.

Don't want that old cunt taking large wages and staying on the injury table. Plus, he's been shit this season.

I'd take him on a one year contract with reasonable wages if it was RVP or another season of Giroud.

If he leaves Man U it's going to be for somewhere he can win, not wages.

What do you envisage happening in the summer? Let's assume you don't qualify for the CL - do you stick with the players you've bought and hope that a full preseason together will aid them, or do you roll the dice again and bring in three or four new players?

To be fair Eriksen drifted all over and swapped with Chadli at times, it's not like he played as a winger. Chadli was in the middle to try and give Ade someone big and strong to play with, it sort of worked but it's yet another new combination and it's no surprise it fizzled out a bit. Most of the players just haven't played with each other enough, every week it's a different XI.

I think of the new signings Eriksen, Paulinho and Chiriches will definitely stay. The rest are all for sale though I can't see too many takers at Levy's prices, I wouldn't miss any of the others except Lamela, he's still a world class talent. We'll make 2 or 3 signings for sure, we have to. We need a new keeper to replace Friedel, a LB to replace Assou-Ekotto, and a striker.

Can't imagine his wages coming down to a reasonable level if he's on something like £200,000 p/w now.

They wouldn't sell to us anyway, and I'd be glad. He's due his trip to the Russian Premier League.

Wouldn't be surprised if he ended up going to Chelsea. they still need a striker and will pay huge wages.

Bodybuilding forum is hilarious (the misc section specifically)

Yeah there's some gold there for sure.

Can't believe they accepted that article. Surely they know it's satire?

But why would they publish it then... But how can you not see the sarcasm here

"Your twenties are all about you. It’s a time for discovering yourself, your strengths, and your weaknesses, but most of all it is to do what feels right in the moment, have fun. You know that barista with the bristly mustache at your local coffee joint, the one with the squinty eyes and creative tattoos that just make you tingle and forget all about your pretty frappuccino, have a tumble in the haystack with him. You know that drug dealer with the shaved head and the facial piercings, the guy with the forearms that make you melt and who might have been to jail more times than Paula Deen has uttered a racist slur, do him too. And I musn’t forget the six foot three football playing frat guy that you see making love to a beer bong every weekend, he might not be an algebra wiz, but he doesn’t need math to know the right angle to thrust at."

I really don't know.
