United set out with the purpose of giving Moyes time. That's why he wasn't sacked when we lost nearly every game in January. But I don't think anyone on the board ever expected things to be this bad. We've gotten worse since then. The players aren't listening to him and the fans are turning.

Believe in Moyes.

For effect, after every bodycheck, you must say "Yes Flanno lad". In hindsight it was a masterclass in fouling without getting sent off.
Flanno has really surprised me with this run of form, great stuff from the lad.

He is still overly aggressive at times, against Southampton he was getting done repeatedly by committing to a pressing challenge much too late, when the opponent already has good possession, instead of keeping a good defensive position.

I already got too many games to play, still havent finished South Park... Got Bravely Defauly half done on 3ds... and then Persona 4, FF6 (which I never played) and the Metal Gear HD collection to get done on Vita... and then I bought Banished, TWD Season 2 and MGS Rising. I really need to stop buying games that I don't actually play, I will play them sometimes but... Not all at the same time haha. By the time I'm done with them I can probably get the HD collection of FFX and Ground Zero really cheap.

It's strange that Shevley couldn't understand what Rodgers wanted from him as well as some of the other players. Rodgers spent so much time (frustratingly) instructing him from the sidelines.

:lol

That was also mentioned on Football Weekly Laboured. You did get Moyes to bring what only he could.

Barcelona's all time top scorer at the age of 26. We're incredibly fortunate to have witnessed this. He's two years off his prime as far as forwards are concerned.

Timing it with Livepool's CL appearance

shit, i'm so sick. took like 4 different pills. can't sleep but can't stay awake either. i think it might stress related. tomorrow's my birthday and Friday is the last day of my contract, so come Saturday i'm officially jobless. i do have a standing invitation to join another company but it's in the same area (sales, which been my job for 7 years) and i'd like to try something different while i'm still young-ish. i do get 2 years of unemployment checks with a sizable value to them, maybe i should take 3 or 4 months off to recharge the batteries.

If you're going to be well off for a while financially, then take the well needed break.

The transformation is almost complete. All Moyes has to do is start Fellaini behind the striker and then we are officially Everton.

Snub Mourinho for Moyes because of tradition and stability. Fire Moyes and bring in van Gaal, a man who will care nothing for our tradition and will stay for three years max. Brilliant move Fergie and board.

He would've done that long before if he wasn't afraid of the backlash. Poor man is stuck between how he would like his team to shape up and how the club expect him to play. Crossing it to Fellers in the hole all day long would have been very productive I imagine.

It's incredible that he managed to replicate his Everton team's form despite the shackles.

MOTY, surely.

How humiliating are we talking here?

Losses to nil, I'd say.

City game might have a bit more legroom in that regard, but if United go out there tomorrow and lose 3-0 at home to Olympiakos and then lose by a similar margin at the weekend then I can't see how he can stay for much longer.

Of course, many have been saying that for quite a while now, so who knows.

What do you expect from a spineless manager. Any top manager would have went into the season wanting to install their own philosophy and tactics. Only a coward like Moyes would try and play the same brand of football as Fergie. From day 1 I wanted him to be his own man and make changes, and it didn't happen.

I found a really intresting article on r/liverpoolfc on Armin Hodzic - a Bosnian forward who is on loan from Liverpool in Bosnia. He's still over there due to work permit issues, but he's due to come into the U21s/ pre-season next year.

Could see him breaking through next year. I think he may need a loan at an English club or a better league before we use him though.

http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1754791/manchester-united-boardroom-considering-replacing-david-moyes-manager?cc=5739

Key Manchester United boardroom figures have now turned against David Moyes, as the prospect of the manager getting sacked has been properly raised for the first time, club sources have told ESPN FC.

The Glazer family owners are now more open to the idea of a change of manager, although they presently remain behind Moyes, but the next week could prove decisive, sources said. Over that time, United must overturn a 2-0 deficit in the Champions League against Olympiakos, before facing an awkward trip to West Ham United and then a potentially daunting second derby of the season against Manchester City.

David Moyes' job hangs in the balance after revelations that United's owners, the Glazers, are now open to the idea of a change of manager.

While qualification for the quarterfinals of the Champions League would be seen as a huge positive and possibly change the entire dynamic of his job, an elimination followed by poor performances in the two games after that could well bring the pressure to breaking point. The Glazers are said to have become very "nervous" about the nature of recent performances, let alone the results, with a nadir coming in the 3-0 home defeat to Liverpool. Some United officials now openly maintain that a managerial change is needed.

Old Trafford sources also state it has been noted that Sir Alex Ferguson is no longer so vocally backing Moyes at boardroom level, although the former manager is not said to have turned against his replacement. It is also believed Moyes retains the backing of Sir Bobby Charlton.

Doubt, however, has increased at virtually every level of the club. Despite the poverty of recent performances, sources state that one of the most influential factors now has been financial concerns. A number of recently signed-up sponsors and commercial partners have reportedly let it be known to the club that they are less than enthused with now being linked to failure, especially since they specifically came on board because of the reputation for extreme success.

This is said to have most unnerved the hierarchy, and long-term damage to United as a "brand" could be the clinching point in any decision. While the club have long planned for a season out of the Champions League -- and that was known to be one initial reason behind the previously unwavering support for Moyes -- any extra negative effect on commercial revenue would be viewed with utmost seriousness.

Sources also state Louis van Gaal would be interested in a potential summer move to Old Trafford, and that the Dutch coach is a little less intent on the Tottenham Hotspur job than he was a few weeks ago. Spurs had felt that Van Gaal's appointment after the World Cup was virtually certain, but it is now more open-ended.

Let's be honest about this, it's probably going to happen sooner rather than later. United lose against Olympiakos and there's nothing left to play for this season (they're never going to beat City, not in a million years). Couple that with investors and sponsors getting nervous and the Glazers will be convinced it's time to take Moyes out back and shoot him in the head.
