It's silly, but nothing that a corporate deepthroater like Geoff wouldn't love. First of all, superior to what Oculus Rift? The one prototype developer one released a year ago? I wouldn't expect the playstation VR to be anything but better than that... It was not a consumer edition. The developer version was 1280×800 and the consumer edition will be 1920x1080 (and won't be limited by outdated hardware).

You really doubt it? Oculus Rift may have some great talent behind it, but Sony are a massive hardware company with decades of R&D and hardware experience behind them, and, despite their financial hardships, can still easily dwarf the budget that the OR has as well.

loooooool.
anywho I do not think Isco's future is bright in madrid.

That´s a massive compliment for Isco coming from a guy who believes that Benzema is a great player....oh well, he is well on his way to becoming a true Madrid legend.

He played well when he had a chance, you can´t show much playing 15 minutes per week....I agree he's still not consistent enough to be a regular starter, but players like him, immensely talented, electric, unpredictable, are always a very valuable weapon.

What was Florentino thinking when he signed Illarramendi for 40 million euros? God, he is worse than Casimiro or Ashley Young. His inability to produce anything substantial amazes me. This kind of players belong to mediocre teams like Sociedad or United, for god's sake, this is Real Madrid . What a dumb move.

IF united made it to the next round can we get them please?

Platini please.

Didn't say that, but comparing it to old developer edition of Oculus is ridiculous and fucking dumb, especially when none of them has been properly released yet, it's just dumb second hand impressions from Geoff BS as usual.

Sony could make a kickass product, but also got to factor in the actual hardware it will run on. With the trouble both consoles (although Xbone to a much bigger degree) already got with running 1080p it could very well be wasted potential. I hope a PS4 VR would help making more games compatible with other VR's too though, multiplat games would certainly have a bigger chance of being VR compatible on PC too if Sony already tries all they can to get it on their Morpheus.

In conclusion, I'm excited for VR even if it's never going to be a huge hit and I'm sure Turok is happy too, imagine the 3d porn man.

Shaqiri's brother said he would be open to an LFC offer
or one from United.

Certainly prefer that to Chiellini laughing at us.

Would be an excellent buy. Good enough to make a real impact and add goals to the side, whilst not having the ego where we would need to start him every game at the expense of Coutinho or Sterling.

Young, left footed, natural wide player, technically skilled, lots to prove, and probably wouldn't cost silly money either.

This gen, I can only really see VR take off in PCs. The open nature allows for more and easier experimentation. Also power won't be an issue, which could have an effect on design of VR games. Plus VR is going to start off as an enthusiastic product, fits in more with what the PC crowd due to price, nature of purchasers etc.

Like how 3D never really took of on consoles, but is more widely available on PCs (for enthusiasts), due to their power.

I do wonder how well we'll be able to balance the quality/quantity needed to compete on all fronts provided we cross the finish line. None of the outfield players that started against United were bought in the summer. I do hope we got the negotiations bit sorted. :)

VR is shit. another gimmick that will die a couple of years after being released.
I don't know how pervasive the experience will be among gamers but the immersion is real. A first person view like the one in Skyrim was a wonderful experience.

You vultures stay away from Shaqiri, his fate is to move to Gladbach.
Well the quote from his brother doesn't exclude Gladbach.

Shaqiri's brother: "Then, when clubs such as Liverpool, Manchester United, Inter & other top clubs approach, we can listen to their offers."

The trouble with VR is that even 1080p looks a bit crap because in essence you're up so close to the screens.

That shit ideally needs closer to 4K resolutions running at something like 75fps to really knock it out of the park. Even PCs will struggle to do that atm.

We need to strengthen the squad quite considerably, as we will trying to compete for four trophies next year - usually with playing more than one game a week.

Hopefully if we improve the squad with quality, Rodgers will rotate a lot more than he does currently. I'm guessing that Rodgers lack of rotating the squad is due to squad size, injuries or lack of quality. I think we need two more wide attacking players in the summer to provide competition for Sterling. Shaqiri would be a great start if we really wanted him.

3D is pretty much dead in games.
The issue is that it pretty much halves the FPS count of any game which makes it impracticable for the newest blockbusters. Hence, it will never truly wow people because its inclusion is feasible in the later stages of any game's life.

Tech with that much direct impact on performance are tough to sell. But 3D + 21/9 @ 60 FPS is pure sex.

My monitor is only 23". Don't judge me. I'm sure you guys love to flaunt your big inch numbers but I prefer mine to be dainty and appealing to the eye.

"Top clubs"

:-(

He is counting Inter among these
like 3d outside of the theaters, yes.
That's a point. I like using 3D exclusively on my 3DS. I find it pointless in other medias.

The things coming out on Seedorf. He called Crespo and asked him to spy on Parma's training last week. Parma moved the training schedule around so that Crespo couldn't know when to move.

Oh and he kept De Sciglio on the bench vs Atletico because he wanted to have him vs Parma. Too bad he was banned for one match.

That's Carlo's offer for his shirt, I think. Anyway, that'd be a nice stabbing in the back from him, hope he doesn't make another move.

Personally I think the screens pixel density has more impact than resolution unless you are looking at cables, wire fences and such.

Well done to Chelsea last night, at least one English team will fly the flag a little longer.

Crespo, eh? So is he really going to be in Seedork's staff next season? And what about Tasso?

God why we suck, can Silvio just die already.

The defence will be the easiest sell to incoming players this summer. Any fullback or right-sided CB we buy will be brought in with a view that they will be first choice.

The attack is more difficult, since we need to add quality to the quality that's already there. As I said, Shaqiri would be a great buy, but if w were looking at, say, a striker, then we really couldn't be looking at someone with less than the quality of, say, Loic Remy. Someone who will sit on the bench, but be able to get maybe 10 goals per season when called upon.

Midfield will be difficult to buy for as well. We definitely need another box to box/ defensive minded body in there, but we already have 5 players competing for 3 spaces, with Suso to come back into the squad and Texiera knocking on the door as well.

Everytime you doubt your team's chance to claim victory take a moment and look at the top of the page.

Believe.

This does not apply if your team happens to play that of Brendan Rodgers.

United will make it tonight!

I really can't decide if I want to see them lose tonight, I mean that alone would be hilarious. But see them go past Olympiakos to be shamed real hard by any of the remaining teams would be amazing too. This is the kind of bukakke they would be shamed with if they actually go through

I don't think you understand how fundamentally different VR is from 3D. And 3D isn't "gimmicky" simply because it's 3D. It feels gimmicky because the 3D you experience in cinemas and/or at home is a poor, half-assed execution of what proper stereoscopic (aka one image per eye) 3D is supposed to look like.

This is why I hope they make it to the next round. A quarterfinal with United against Real, Bayern, PSG or Barca could have double digit potential.

How do you think I feel? I don't want to go out of the CL, but I want Moyes gone.

You're crazy. Those clubs couldn't even do that against Schalke and Leverkusen. And Moyes boys beat Leverkusen 9-2.

Thats cute. But Leverkusen does not sound as frightening as the top 5 clubs and its not only about the result, its how United would perform. Being dominated completely for 180 minutes when the whole world is watching is embarrassing and taking away a huge chunk of the reputation the club (still) has.

Being dominated by those clubs wouldn't be embarrassing compared to this entire season. Those results would be expected.

For someone who follows Uniteds season maybe. But supporters from other clubs or people who arent into EPL its going to be a rather funny and shocking event when they see the MoyesBoys.
