Imagine how pissed of Fergie would be if we won the league. Spends the better part of three decades knocking Liverpool off their perch, only for them to jump straight back on as soon as he leaves.

We have 20 more points this season than we did from the corresponding fixtures last year.

would be amazing

how mad would it be if we win the league...

Think Moyes would get sacked if that happens.

I wouldn't want our club to be the cause of anything that gets Moyes sacked.

There are some amazing quotes on twitter right now being accredited to JWH. I hope they're true.

Basically, there was a £40 million rease clause in Suarez's contract, but since they'd learned from Torres forcing his way our that contracts for PL footballers aren't worth the paper they're written in, they just decided they weren't selling regardless, and that was that.

Thanks Fernando.

Before the FA Cup semi against Everton at Wembley I didn't sleep a wink.

Felt sick as fuck before the match as a result, but it ended up being one of the greatest days ever.

Hope it's the same for youse. Be well happy for Gus.

2 years ago at law school I went to a talk by some lawyers that specialise in football and they basically said the same sentiment. Football clubs don't play by normal contract principles.

I thought the PFA looked at the contract and confirmed that it was just an agreement to notify Suarez of interest though?

Footballers or clubs suing is pointless considering it would take 6 months to 2years to resolve through the courts and appeal processes.

I've read a footballers contract and it made very little sense. A trainee and I could rap our heads around it. The first half look like it was written by a lawyer. The second half made no sense. This was drafted by the club.

Not that United have any chance of scoring at least 4 (We give out goals like candy at OT), but it would be awesome to see us draw Dortmund and have Klopp annihilate us with modern football. Maybe being at Old Trafford and seeing how far we've fallen would convince him his new mission in life is to save United from disaster and become a legend. Based Klopp you are our only hope.

Arnie pls.

Tell me you hope Arsenal get second if you win the league.

Honestly, if we can't win it I hope you do.

Outside of us coming in first I'd want Arsenal ahead of City and then the rest. That's the order of how much the others do my nut in. Chelsea are bad for it, horrible squad of players and a manager who goes out of his way to be antagonistic. United are basically evil personified. Run by Moyes. Fucking Moyes. The big bad Blue.

But Arsenal are alright, Wenger's funny and quaintly French.

Hixx don't go to the stadium early unless you are a fan of incredibly loud PA and radio dance music

other than that, have a top day

The cost of a pint might send you straight back up the M1 though

Not taking the piss, but that generally seems to be my experience with Serie A/La Liga in general.

I know they can have as many entertaining games as the next league, but I always end up watching/trying to watch a game filled with players slowly passing the ball to each other in their own half with perhaps an occasional hoof upfield.

Speaking of boring games - Norwich vs. Villa tomorrow!

EURGH
Can tell you that this is definitely NOT the case with Serie A, far from it. La Liga is definitely what you described above, much slower pace (Atletico and Madrid aside)

edit: to add to it, BPL is probably considered as a very fast-paced league which I agree with. Most people who've managed a team in Serie A do say though that the league is much more tactical. Personally I tend to find Serie A most entertaining to watch and fortunately it's not two-sided as La Liga is. I think, even with the slow pace in Spanish football in general, that La Liga would be muuuuuuuuch more entertaining if Madrid and Barca weren't owning the league.

Seeing Liverpool thrive at this point in the year, while Arse are just beginning their annual slide is going to make for an interesting close to the season. We'll either have already won the league by the time we travel to Anfield at the end of April, or that game will decide things with two games to play.

"Luis Suarez is the top scorer in the English Premier League, which is arguably the top soccer league in the world."

Well that part is definitely true.

jtb gonna have a heart attack if Liverpool finish over us. Liverpool showing what having actual good forwards can do for a team. They have Suarez and Sturridge, we have Giroud.

Bad result today but just gave the wife 11 orgasms at once. "No-one gives me front-bum puddles like you, " she purred. Swings & roundabouts.

Best twitter account.

We are both on 59 points. I think it's still a 4 way race at this point. Chelsea and City being favorites. Liverpool have the momentum though.
