My flatmate, who was an American, used to talk to me about how important their tipping culture because they don't get paid shit and always get ordered like slaves. They may get a tip or two for sympathy, but fuck them if they think its imperative for me to pay them.
Sadly, my flatmate was a stubborn person, so I never voiced my opinion since I bloody hate arguments.

The whole idea behind tipping is that it's an extra you might get if you do your job above average. Forced tips are the dumbest thing ever.
