So he IS being made a scapegoat. From what i gather it was his job to suggest players and negotiate their contracts, but the ultimate and final call was that of the manager.

So Liverpool have shot the messenger it seems and not the one who sent the message.

Neither you nor any of the fans know who exactly was calling the shots or what jobs were delegated to which people.

Only time will tell. The owners want success and they wouldn't just wake up and sack a DOF on a Thursday morning because they are in a bad mood.

If a doctor ever tells you to take Solpadol as a form of pain relief, respectfully disagree, knock over a a leaflet and storm out.

Took it before bed least night for my back and it felt like I was buried alive. Parts of my body started going numb, I became groggy, but the whole sensation was so strange that I couldn't shut off to get to sleep.

And it wasn't like normal insomnia where I could read my book or browse GAF; the tablets were so strong I was effectively a prisoner in my own body.

If you google Solpadol you get these stories of people who're addicted to them. Never again.
Isn't Solpadol just branded Co-codamol? You wuss! :p

Don't know how you inferred that from my post. He's responsible for Carroll, so how is firing him making him a scapegoat? I've already agreed with Bungie that I think Kenny is the one who employed the British transfer buying policy, but in this particular instance, Comolli is the messenger.

It's a heavy concoction of Codine and Paracetamol. Might sound fairly innocuous but I'll ask you to take it and get back to me. My mum came in the room this morning to see how my back was and as she entered the door I threw the packet of Solpadol at her.

Rumours are that Gyan is coming back at the end of the season.

He's a mercenary cockend but who isn't these days... and we're going to be left with a mouth-watering strike force of Ji and Wickham come the summer. Nice one, Brucey.

What worries me is this:

Yesterday i was at the Juventus Stadium... Man, what a match.
Nice pick! :p

I never buy kits with names in the back or numbers, I like the clean kits better lol

Normally, I agree. But Del Piero is a legend, and Götze German Away was an impulse buy. My only other kit with a name is last years CL Real Madrid kit with Ronaldo on the back, but that was a gift from the Girlfriend. It is a sexy kit though.

Just putting 2 and 2 together. Some1 mentioned Comolli was in charge of negotiations and suggesting transfers and then you posted that tidbit. So i just assumed that might be the case but then i realized every1 (including me) is as clueless as 8 yr old who got his first erection.

Daily Mail is on fire.

Vidic is impossible. And, anyways, we don't need another CB, we need a top-tier LB and a backup RB, possibly if we aren't considering Caceres, for our defence.

We've been linked with Torres since the beginning of his slump, but it's always going to be unlikely because of how Marotta tends to spend his money, specifically that he has said he doesn't like to splash for "headlining" players. And given his recent uptick in form, I'd be surprised if Chelsea will be willing to part with him. On the other hand, if they don't make Champions then yeah it's a strong possibility I think.

What worries me is this: FORM

To be honest, that form guide does nothing to change the fact that everything is more or less even in terms of schedules we face. If they lost to Fiorentina, Milan can lose to Genoa. And the form of our opponents is, again, more or less the same.

Milan is winning games but they aren't a team in form. Chievo dominated them. They've just been fortunate. The guide is deceptive. They're still more likely to drop points against teams that can really challenge them, teams like Siena and Atalanta.

That Milan kit isn't very nice. I much prefer the current one to the point where I even bought it - it's that hot. This new one looks like a step backwards to a more horrible retro point.

Adidas is so all over the place.

technically we didn't sell him and it was after our transfer window closed so it was pure lunacy.

Redknapp "could have had" Ben Arfa and Sessegnon before their joined their respective teams.

Cool story bro. Sky Sports with another cum drenched worthless article on complete and utter irrelevant news. Their boner for Redknapp never ceases it seems.

Ugh, why can't he just shut his mouth. He's said this about Suarez, Cahill, Downing, Van Bommel, and just about every other player anybody's ever signed. Just shut the fuck up. We bought Louis Saha in January, Everton got Jelavic and Pienaar (from us, for fuck's sake), Newcastle got Papiss, and they are both flying. Spend a bit of that Rosie money instead of rambling about players you 'could have had', Harry.

Yeah he did a fantastic job of bringing them in for 2.5x what we should have been paying.

I'm honestly not sure who's more to blame, so I think we should introduce a system similar to what they did at Ebbsfleet. You can pay £100 per vote to vote on who Liverpool should sign next, the person with the most votes wins!

selling bent was good or bad business?

I woulda kept him ;|

For an eventual £24m, good business. We aren't a worse team without him, we've scored more goals this season than we did in either season he played for us already.

To be honest I've went from being gutted to being slightly amused.

Went to play with Downing and Young and they fucked off 6 months later!!

I don't mean to be a story topper but...

:(

Apparently Houllier was close to signing C.Ronaldo for us, but balked at the £12million asking price for such a young player. Not that we'd have made him so good anyway, we had a habit of fucking up promising youngsters back then, and still do to a degree now
