Arsenal today wooo!

Question for you fine fellows: What goes on between the end of the Premiere League season and August? Do the teams take a break or are there tournaments in between that time?

Little bit of a break, transfer windows open, some scattered Intl. games and then a pre-season tour to a different country with a bunch of exhibition games.

The players get a few weeks off during May/June, then in July they are back for training, then from then till August they play friendly games often as part of a pre-season tour of a foreign country. This year it will be different because of EURO 2012 though.

Don't forget there is Olympic international football as well this year.

Aston Villa - Chelsea
Everton - West Bromwich A.
Fulham - Norwich C.
Manchester C. - Sunderland
Queens Park R. - Arsenal
Wigan Athletic - Stoke C.
Wolverhampton W. - Bolton W.

Hmm, what's the most promising game to the EPL bystander (neutral fan)?

Is this part of that "we're not going to play every game at 3pm to make people go to the stadiums" nonsense?

Yeah they stopped Viasat showing every game because it was very easy to find streams for every single PL game.

Nowt's changed, just some won't have English commentary.

ALSO FUCK CRAIG GARDNER WHY ARE YOU STILL PLAYING AHEAD OF VAUGHAN :(

Duncan Castles reckons Anzhi have put aside €300m for this summers transfer window!

Petrov has confirmed his career is over and he's now fighting for his life. At the ground today. Apparently a couple of days ago he was helping to arrange a fund where players would contribute a portion of their salary to help ex players who needed help. Sounds like a great character.

Everybody has only glowing praise for the guy. I hope he makes it, he always seemed like a great fighter on the pitch and like Muamba I'm sure his desire to win will help him.

Guten Morgen!

Yo. I greet you in a dinner suit (put on hours early because fuck being in a rush), eating chocolate, sitting inside because it's fucking cold out there.

Reports in Bulgarian media that Petrov has called time on his career are fabricated. Stan does not speak to the Bulgarian press

I know he had beef with Stoichkov. Maybe still so with the press.

it seems pato has been fixed!

“Pato is absolutely fine and I’d say we found the answers we were looking for,” said chief Milan medic Jean Pierre Meersseman.

“We return home with a clearer idea of the situation. Could Pato play on Tuesday against Barcelona? Absolutely, he is ready and will certainly be at Coach Massimiliano Allegri’s disposal.”

thank you based american doctors. now hopefully pato can remember how to play good football. can't be worse than robinho has been lately in any case.

Our match was garbage. We're not exactly the purveyors of slick passing football but Preston were a disgrace. They came with a plan to spoil the game and it almost worked.

Still, we've won 2-0 and done our job for the weekend. Hoping for Pigs, Charlton and Huddersfield to drop points now.

I like this formation, but we always struggle against Villa...

Yikes, that looked like a real chance for Sunderland. Nice job, Micah.

Team looks terrible quite early on. Can't keep posession.
