I just watched the Newcastle game. How the hell can Atkinson still be handed premier league games? Just no idea whatsoever.

Newcastle should appeal that red card.

It was a fucking red all day. Even James Perch on the radio said it was a red, as did Pardew. Most Mags I've spoken to have said the same, going as far as to call Cheat "only goes for the ball" Tiote a liability.

It was a shit tackle as usual but it's no more of a red than Larsson's wack at Ameobi. Did any Sunderland players even get booked?

Ref was shit.

Ugh, we lost to some small team that hasn't won since August. I'm just disappointed with the club as a whole. The entire organization needs a shake up ASAP.

No it wasn't. I don't give a fuck what Pardew says. If tackles like that become red cards then there should be a red card every week from now on to be consistent. A yellow card for sure but that's all.

Just a joke decision that influences the outcome of a game.

No but apart from Larsson none deserved to be.

Cabaye should have been sent off for persistent offending... got away with about 10 fouls. Also take a look at what Ameobi's elbow did to Sheasy's nose...

The ref was indeed shit.

Very high, studs up. Straight forward red.

Larsson could have gone. Tiote did and correctly so.

The debate's going on elsewhere in Off-Topic, but I want football gaf's thoughts.

The Wire, The Sopranos, Mad Men. Rank them, with reasons.

My only contrubution will be to say the The Wire is my favourite ever TV series, as I haven't watched either of the other 2.

LOST
Twin Peaks
Breaking Bad
Homeland
Luther

Wanna get through those first. Still haven't seen the recent Sherlock Holmes series either

Also the 2 corners that weren't given for both sides.

Awful refereeing.

When Utd or City go a goal down, home or away, I fully expect them to make a serious come back and win the game. Even if they concede late in the 2nd half. With Arsenal, I don't. I don't believe we have enough winners in our squad, the type that do not like losing. We had the chance to do something this year, and we turn up without a care in the world against Norwich, and against Sunderland at home earlier in the season and in our CL game. I have no idea what side of Arsenal will turn up on Wednesday, and that worries me.

The Wire is great because shit's real. Omar jumping out of the apartment is the only bs thing tho

Mad Men would be 2nd after it since I love that time period in the u.s. and I love booze and women.

Never really got into the Sopranos. I like the Sopornos though

is Falcao half brazilian?

No. His dad just loved the Brazilian player. I believe his full name is Radamel Falcao Garcia Zarate.

I know that feel bro. I quit watching south american qualifiers for like 10 years lol

If Falcao went to Chelsea they'd be like a FIFA Ultimate Team

Don't worry about the happening. City's head scout has told Mancini he has to get Falcao. And he said they've also looked at Fabregas and Busquets.

But for that particular incident there was no malicious intent at all. He went over the ball but he was also off balance. I don't agree with it at all.

There was no agression in that incident imo. Elbows etc.. are different because usually they are deliberate but Tiote was clearly going for the ball there. Poor decision from the referee.

We'll be lucky to hold our champions league spot this season. That Norwich game was a real worry as we played like we didn't give a fuck. In previous seasons we had a Fabregas who loved the club and hated losing but yesterday I got the impression that Cazorla and Arteta were the only players who cared. It was such a disappointing result but worse was the mentality and lack of fighting spirit in our team. If we don't bring more talent in January we're screwed this season.

Gervinho I just don't rate either. Slighty better than Walcott but a far inferior finisher.

Why would you even need a scout to tell you that?

@Fry, one at a time bro. Gotta get through LOST first, its taking a while :p

1. Sopranos
2. The Wire
3. Mad Men

Mad Men I tried the first 3-4 eps and found it immensely static and boring, The Wire is decent enough but not the God tier show it was made out to be. Sopranos had its weak seasons but overall it's my favourite out of those three.
