Oh man, I can't believe what I have to read from BVB fans here. "Dortmund only has themselves to blame", "Stopped attacking, only parked the bus" etc. What the hell is wrong with you? Don't get too confident, that was Real Madrid at the Bernabeu. Fantastic first half but Real really turned on power mode in the second half. The first 10 minutes after half time, we looked shaky as fuck and I feared the worst. Fucking amazing to keep it at 2-2, don't get me wrong, the late goal sucked but come on. What other teams got 4 points over two ties against Real? Probably only Barca, that's just awesome. I'd have taken one point for those two matches some weeks ago. So proud of this team right now.
You've to realize this is not the first time we concede a late equalizer(remember Hannover and Man City)...I'm not upset about the draw, in fact I'd be over the moon if some one told we could grab 4 points from the two matches against Real. But you've to realize we completely give up on any attempts to attack during the 2nd half. The equalizer was coming, and we should count ourselves lucky that Di Maria/Ronaldo weren't really on form today.....
What I'm really upset by is the way we sit back and throwing games away(much like what happened against Hannover or Frankfurt), not the result
About Ivan, I have disagree with you. He surely is a very talented player, and a good finisher(other than Reus no one is better than him in our squad). I don't understand where the impressions of easy tap-ins come from, many of the goals he scored were stunners(last season against Arsenal, Werder and Stuttgart, this season vs HSV), and the few tap-ins show his great off the ball movement. Why can't our other players score easy tap-ins?? Not to mention he also has a decent cross.....He sure has his weaknesses(can't defend, careless with possessions sometimes), but I woudn't gone to far to sell him....What's the point. Plus it's not like Klopp is always right with his selection...If Gotze wasn't injured last season we probably would've sold Kuba already for dirt cheap. Remember he was only subbed during stoppage time in the 1st half of last season, much like what Perisic was treated now
