Not responding to him directly because I'm done with anything City related until, like, August, but fucking hell orange ones are the best.

If Aguero was an Arsenal player our club would be getting slaughtered now over his repeating injuries. Media no fair.
To be fair, that's because if we would only have Aguero if we had him. City have Dzeko + Negredo so don't feel the effect of injuries to the same degree.

There was reportedly an incident in the Tor di Quinto area of the city, far from the Stadio Olimpico.

There were four people injured, two of them Napoli fans, one allegedly a plain clothes police officer and one reportedly a passer-by.

Gunshots were heard with one supporter hit in the arm, another in serious condition struck in the chest and a fourth a passer-by.

Rome police announced the incident was not linked to the game, but rather local Roman organised crime taking advantage of the chaos in the city to engage in a ‘hit’ on the visiting group of Neapolitans. They said it was one shooter and the gun has been recovered.

There were rumours that the fan struck in the chest had died in hospital, so Napoli ultras called for the game to be halted.

Captain Marek Hamsik went to the Curva Nord and spoke to the ultras leaders, assuring them that the reports were inaccurate and the fan is out of danger.

There was more tension at that moment with fans throwing fireworks on to the field, one exploding close to a fireman who was carried away by colleagues, but he was only shaken by the sound.

Hamsik's message was to stop the repeat of a similar incident in the Rome Derby, which was halted by Roma ultras at half-time when rumours - which later proved to be unfounded - circulated that a child had been run over and killed by a police van.

The two ultras groups met at the Stadio Olimpico and agreed the game should go ahead, but they will watch largely in silence.

oh Sanogo ...

10/11 was worse because Hodsgon. There were some bright spots in 11/12. Ugh who am I kidding it was fucking awful wasn't it. 10/11 second half, the Suarez signing, the return of Kenny, was definitely a good time.

Remember all those missed chances, Suarez being more likely to hot the post with a sitter than the back of the net.

Christ.

Already getting over missing out on the title as City were always favourites the second Willian conquered us. Fuck, we've been boss this year though. Not quite boss enough to win it, but fucking boss nonetheless. Aside from Gerrard, this group of players has a number of years ahead to win titles, hopefully with us, and we have a fucking boss young manager who either gets the club, or is doing a fucking brilliant impression of someone who does.

Twat Palace, twat Newcastle, get some bloody good business done, keep the players we want to keep, bring in a defensive coach, and get ready to start twatting teams from the moment we meet up for preseason. Do it next year. And if not, do it the year after. The same way we've always been between 1990 and 2009. Learn some lessons from the season. Do what we're doing badly better, do what we're doing well better just for good measure.

Take over the fucking world.

I keep flitting between being pissed off at Gerrard, and feeling absolutely devestated for him.

This has nothing to do with Zabojnik.

Just more stupid subs and decisions in the game.

And of course the usual poor defending against headers and set pieces.

FF, pls. You can solve that dodgy back line by getting in some CBs. You can have Dawson for £50m.

bring in a defensive coach

I am really starting to think that it is impossible to have a great defense if you play as attacking football as teams like Liverpool, Arsenal, Barca, City, Dortmund play.

You are going to leave your CB's too exposed.

It worked for Barca because they were so good at keeping the ball.

Arsenal only started defending better this year because we are less attacking than we have been in the past.

City have defensively looked very poor this season.

A more balanced approach seems to work better. Look at Bayern last season, Man United under Fergie and Madrid and Arsenal this season. Chelsea have the best defense in the league and it is because they are the most cautious team in attack.
