First half we were really good. Second we just didn't know what to do when Italy got themselves organised.

Baines and Rooney were gash (cross aside). Sterling class but was rushing things at the end. We're shit at set pieces.

Saw enough to think we might make it out of the group, specially considering Uruguay's performance.

Subs were bad imo. Not bad substitutions, but the performances of te subs weren't good enough. Barkley could have done something if Rooney wasn't such a cunt tbf. Looked too tired to pile on the pressure necessary to break them down in the last 15 minutes.

2 main things to work on:

1) Wide defending, especially on the left. Can't just allow a constant stream of crosses like that.
2) Attacking set pieces. Floaty, mishit shite from Gerrard, Baines and Rooney.

Confident we can beat Uruguay, especially if Suarez isn't ready.
