A sort of Brazilian Frank Lampard still cracks me up though

You seriously think the biggest factor he based where he would play the next 4+ years in was the city? I don't.

It's where you've got to live and socialise, it's not just where you're playing football.

Honest question have you ever lived in London? Have you ever also lived in a city like Liverpool?

I have. It's a huge factor. Especially when you're bringing in that sort of disposable income.

Been away from the internet since Saturday, what's the transfer news - how much for Suarez and how are Liverpool spending the money?

I love how all the nerds cry because a salad on kickstarter gets more money than their beloved video game products.

finish your fucking steam backlog before you complain about shit like this.

i hate you.

Also awful:

"How can anyone buy DLC???" asked by people who have been monthly subbing MMOs since 2005.

I've been to London, not Liverpool though. I do find it hard to believe that the disparity is that great but I'll defer to your experience on the matter.

not that anyone cares, well except maybe for a laugh, but the destruction of the 13/14 champion Benfica squad continues, with Oblak (the young starting keeper) didnt show up for practice with no-notice and spanish media reports he was in madrid doing medical tests for Atletico Madrid

yay for incompentence, I salute you mr.president o7

so to recap, thats Rodrigo, Garay, Siqueira gone, Markovic almost certain in Liverpool and Oblak in Atletico Madrid aparently, with Enzo Perez most likely fucking off to Valencia or something as soon as the world cup ends. All starting players last year, and we are getting fuck all from the deals because we only own like 50% of the rights in most cases because of all the investment funds

Good times to be a Benfica fan :)

Don't think anyone is arguing that it's a huge factor.

Just whether or not it was the deciding factor.

We will never know so it's pretty pointless.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

London is a big pull for a lot of folk. Don't ask me why, would much rather live in Shipley

I also hope Juve go balls deep for Sanchez this week. They'll need to raise those funds from somewhere.

Does balls deep mean offer both the player and Barca less money than Arsenal are offering?

Because that's what is going to happen.

Doesn't really matter what was the deciding factor for Sanchez. They missed out on a class player, we potentially gain one.

Who would have ever thought Sanchez and Mesut Özil would ever play in an Arsene Wenger led Arsenal?

I sure as fuck didn't think we'd spend anywhere close to what we spent on Ozil in the next decade.

£75 million

Ben Smith said every transfer we've made so far or are in the process of completing is in addition to the Suarez cash, so we don't know how we're spending it.

Visiting somewhere and living somewhere are two vastly different things.

Trust.

When I moved to London - as you can find on my post history - I would rather have been living in some Northern City. Now I probably won't moved back up North until I'm ready to settle down etc.

Alexis is 25, without a family. He wants to come get titties in the capital.

Fair enough.

Sturridge is good enough to lead the line, if I was Liverpool, I'd spend big on improving the supply line (and maybe getting some versatile attackers that can play along the front three) rather than buying a big money striker that'll take a season or so to bed in anyways.
It seems like that is exactly what Rodgers wants to do. Liverpool have nearly signed Markovic and are likely to go foreither Shaqiri or Griezmann as an alternative to Sanchez.

Personally though, I would like us to go for Mandžukić. I really don't think we can rely on Sturridge being fit for the majority of next season. Lambert is a good third choice and Origi will be decent the season after next. Unconvinced on Borini.

Yurt

il capo silenzioso
baby didnt you hear?! we signed Adnan
Curovic
!!!11

pls be excite

also, don't forget future GOAT Kingsley Coman. Damn. What-a-name.

WHO THE FUCK ARE THOSE PEOPLE

Fuck off Juve.

we do have an agreement with the player but it means fuck all, because we don't have an agreement with Barca and we're not going to pay more than Arsenal.

we had an agreement with RVP too, lol.

I'm so angry right now.

Playing FIFA.

The ball comes into my direction. I press triangle to move Neuer, so that he can just catch the slow ball. Nobody from the other team in sight. What does he do???

He falls to the ground and punches the ball out of the penalty box.

Ronaldo comes up, makes a cross and Benzema scores.

I'm done.

I just want PES 2015 to arrive.
