The acting, the crying, the porn stashes, trying to be "God's team" pointing to the sky everytime a decision goes their way. I just despise all of that. The country is wasting millions on the WC and a title would some how justify everything Brazil did, Blatter /FIFA giving the WC to them etc. In 2006, Germany was jump started by the World Cup. Now every round Brazil get's out of, is another nail in the coffin (for both the sport of football and Brazil).
Brazil getting third place, the fans nonetheless appreciating the achievements of their team, while also looking critically at the politics involved, the state of the country etc., is something I can get behind with. Not that fucking sense of entitlement because they are Brazil, they are hosting it and certainly not because God wants them to win it.
