We'll see, but you must admit it makes a lot of sense. We own something you want, and vice versa. Marca hasn't released the article yet, just the cover photo, so I'll get back on this when they do.

Oh it makes sense indeed. I just remember the reporting in the past on the Sahin deal. That always only mentioned a kind of "buy-out clause".

Quite apart from the deal or contract situation, I think Gündogan could very well end up at Real and would be a great signing. (Which could even lead to my personal dream of him permanently benching Khedira at Real AND the German nantional team).

Dortmund takes away the season stickets of 3 Ultra groups as a consequence of what happened in Schalke.

Speaking of Schalke, they're apparently going after Casillas in January on a loan

Schalke pls, know your role and shut your mouth

That's the thing innit. We still own his contract. Apparently giving Sahin back is part of the deal to sign Gundogan.

I very much doubt that, Zorc already said in January that we can sign Sahin permanently. So, if Gündogan decided to sign for, let's say, Barca, we would lose both him and Sahin because Real wouldn't sell? I really can't see us agreeing to that. I wouldn't rule out us agreeing to some kind of meaningless first refusal right, though. Like if Gündogan ever leaves, we'll tell you first or something.

Only the away season tickets.

Kurt Zouma banned for ten games for a dangerous tackle.

He got the ball first, but the force of the tackle broke the other players leg and dislocated his ankle.

Goddamnit Louis, are you insane?

(Joel Veltman is called up for the Holland squad, after 3 games in Ajax 1)

Haven't read Blacksad but it does get lots of positive reviews wherever I've looked. I love the artwork that I've seen. I haven't been tempted to throw cash down for it. Yet.

Fables is definitely worth checking out. I've read up to about issue 75 which closes off the huge overarching story set up at the beginning of the series. Generally those issues get the most praise. I've heard it tails off after that but I'm still going to read it. I've just fallen behind on my trade purchases.

Worth nothing that the series is going to finish at issue 150 too. Start off with the Legends in Exile (issues 1-5) paperback or if you can get it for cheap enough the volume 1 deluxe edition hardcover which collects issues 1-10. Maybe also check your local library to see if they keep any of that sort of stuff in.

Cheers mate. Will hunt down the vol 1 hardcover

They can buy him for 4.2M euros without any more negotiations, it was part of the loan deal. Gundogan would end up like Sahin in Real Madrid

So Gargano will miss the game against Lazio because he's been included in Uruguay's squad, if both him and Biabiany are gone it's not a very good thing. But then I remember how shit Lazio in this season so maybe it's still possible to get three points The more news I read about the team the more the fixture looks like one that will decide which team is most shit between the two.

Our twitter account is running a contest for a couple of tickets for Sundays game. Question is the last player to score for City @ the SoL is the same last player who scored for SAFC @ the SoL.

Any way the first answer is from the official City twitter account. RIGHT ON.

Adam Johnson for sure.

Is there anything better than a massive breakfast after a heavy night out.

Flat Sausage >

Fixed, but I feel bad for everywhere that doesn't do it.

Recently though I've found a sausage and bean melt or two from the greggs on the way to lectures is magic for a hangover.

Eh. Lad didn't make it up, but

guyz guyz call me Beast

I'm sure I read a Sid Lowe tweet saying Negredo was never called Beast back in Spain.

You guys had me worried he was an insecure nutter, so I had to look it up. Apparently it goes back as far as 2009, maybe even further:

Can't wait to see Harry Redknapp claiming he "almost signed him", might even be true this time.

After a proper English breakfast I'm ready to drink pints by 11 AM.

Alternatively hilarious egg thread in OT. Can't fathom how cooking eggs is hard/takes too much time/makes whole kitchen dirty.

What really baffles me is how shitty the eggs looked coming out of that thing. It's like some kind of egg dick

Bleacher Report and the Mirror

Well, you've set my mind at ease.

I put English sources in there because I know those, there's plenty of Spanish ones and I don't know which are Spanish newspapers with shit web design or blogs. :p (You saw they were written in 2009?)

Hmm actually, found it in an interview from 2008:
-La Wikipedia dice que le llaman la 'Fiera de Vallecas'. ¿Le agrada el apodo?
-Antes de jugar en el Castilla, lo hacía en el Rayo. Y como soy de Vallecas, así me bautizó un periodista de Real Madrid Televisión. Me he quedado con el apodo. No me gusta mucho, pero creo que sí me pega.
http://www.aupapucela.com/MOS/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1659&Itemid=71&addcomment=1

Which means, according to Google:
-The Wikipedia says he called the 'Fiera de Vallecas'. Do you like the nickname?
-Before playing in the Castilla, the Lightning did. And since I'm Vallecas and baptized me a reporter from Real Madrid TV. I have stuck with the nickname. I do not like much, but I think it hits me.

Errr.... anyone can do a proper translation?

Place near me does massive bacon baguettes for like £2. Bit of brown sauce and your away.

Absolute gold dust.

Very nice of Pellegrini to add that Richard Wright is also injured...

Had to Wiki, apparently he has played 3 matches since 2010, played 12 in 2009.
