Been talked about for the last week or so with Spurs apparently being interested before that. I like Barry as a player but there's just no room now. Fair enough. But if you only count CL appearances then it will go down to the top scorer. So either Messi, Ronaldo, Müller or Lewandowski. I stick to Ribery because he was Bayerns MVP this CL season and his perfomance especially against Barca and Dortmund were outstanding. But thats just me.

The fact that he led his club to win the Cup is something special. He could at least be nominated for the "Most exciting discovery" or something like that. We are talking about a man at Swansea who was virtually unknown ten months ago and who managed to climb to being a attraction in the best club competition in the world. I think that deserves a nomination.
