No I agree with you, but I think the fact he is so strong and fast underrates how talented he is technically and on the mental side of things which is just as important really. He isn't as naturally talented as Messi but he's still exceptionally talented. It's just that he's also a top physical specimen.

He's not the best player ever but I can't think of many so complete. Strong in the air, great with both feet, quick as lightning, good from set pieces both taking and on the end of... me love ronny

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has hinted at making further signings this summer following the unveiling of Asier Illarramendi on a six-year-deal.

The 23-year-old was presented to the media at Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday following his €32 million move from Real Sociedad, but Perez suggested his would not be the last arrival of the summer as they strive to build a team to match Carlo Ancelotti's vision of "spectacular" football.

And I wouldn't have Stam over Rio; I think Rio's underrated, I genuinely do. I think he's better at his best than Vidic was at his best as well. For ten years now as well Rio's been largely brilliant for us. Had a shaky start last season but from Oct/Nov onwards he was arguably the defender of the year.

Na Dennis was better. Could score goals, take pens, free kicks, corners, play on either flank and was just a better all rounded player.
