Well, actually ... it looks like his post-surgery recovery is going very well indeed. Could be ready for the seconda di campionato vs. Udinese. Fingers crossed, 'cause you know Marry is gonna sign Luisao, Vlaar or some other reject.
Coutinho gets marked out of games quite a bit. When teams set up to stifle us, he tends to suffer most.

Yeah. I think that Sterling and Coutinho need to periodically switch positions to try and confuse the defence and to find defence.
I really felt with Henderson as wide right, we missed him linking up through the centre with Coutinho. If he's making runs through the middle, both of the holding midfielders can't just sit on Coutinho.

He went from bad to good then back to bad again. He had a few good efforts on goal.
It's a little harder with Kagawa because he hasn't been given chances in his favoured position to show anything. I've said a bunch of times though that excuse can only go so far and he has to start being made accountable.
I think part of it is that we know we're responsible for some of his poor form. We've repeatedly used him to do a job he can't do, and haven't given him the time to do something we know he can. Doesn't mean when he's poor he won't get criticised.
Every club has players whose backs the fans love to get on. Further up the ladder tends to be the big name and big money signings, that comes with the territory. Get used to it
