There's the 840, the 840 EVO and 840 PRO.
840: people say there's problems, Sammy denies, does nothing.
840 EVO: problems are documented, Sammy offers a solution.
840 PRO: you're in the clear.
Just wanted to clarify that in case you think that in non-EVO is also encompassed the PRO. No, it just means the regular old 840.

@kharma, the SSD you recommended to me doesn't seem to be Evo or Pro judging from it's Amazon page

I don't really buy clothes :lol I still wear clothes that my mum bought me when I was 15/16! they still fit me lol, so I don't give a shit really.
