Dragon Age looks so fucking artificial. It has no soul. Which, being an EA title, isn't really surprising.

Usually I would agree, but Bioware had plenty of time for Dragon Age Inquisition compared to DA2.

Dragon Age 1 was fucking great. 2 was alright, repetitive environments hurt it a lot but an RPG forced out in <18 months is never going to be great.

Nothing has happened as far as I know. I'm just reading people's posts and everyone is so excited for it and have really high expectations. The feeling seems to be that this game will turn it around for EA and Bioware.

And I'm not one of those people who acts like Bioware killed and raped my dog then burned the body with regards to DA2. It was an okay game.

I just think EA's track record has been so shitty lately with how games have come out at release—unfinished, undercooked, and lacking features that they promised.

Nah, DA2 was a legit bad game.

Inquisition looks OK tho. Graphical leap, big world, nice extras like mounts and exploration, sensible design choices like fixed level enemies, and the world dragon bosses, etc.

It could still turn out a dud, and it goes without saying that people should be wary of EA, but there are not as many red flags as with other recent EA releases.

I hope Sunset Overdrive comes tomorrow. We don't play until Monday so I want to get stuck into it before we get beat and I get too depressed to play it without being a miserable cunt.
