Watched Skyfall again today after a lot of the comments here put it in my mind. Deakins is a god. I just have no words for what he accomplishes. I still can't get over how silly a lot of it is tho (and some of the CG looks as well), especially those damn komodo dragons. That was so weak.

I got to the credits and apparently the real name of one of the casino bodyguards is Tank Dong. Long Johnson am cry.

I have a pop at Rodgers' subs a lot, so only fair to give him credit for yesterday

After Can came on we were much better at dealing with Ings, who had given us a torrid time in the first half, and would have scored at some point if we had continued like it. And Lambert's introduction allowed Sterling and Lallana to play closer to the midfield, making it much easier for us to find a way out from the back, and contest the midfield to make sure that loose balls were falling for us. In the first half, every loose ball ended up with a Burnley player, and too many if them before the 70th minute as well.

Helped by Burnley running out of steam a bit

Can will be boss btw. Easy to forget that he's only 20 since he had a reputation a couple of years ago iirc, and he looks like 25 :p

Yesterday exposed quite a few holes in the system we're trying to adapt to, but that result was vital. Hope Burnley stay up, their work ethic was admirable, and they played noticeably honestly.

Wonder if we're lowly enough for Chelsea to sell us Cech for a reasonable price. I would be ecstatic if we got him.

Think he'd be up for it, we're the best English club who need a keeper, and he'd play every game

West Ham are higher in the table and are in need of a long term keeper. Jussi won't last forever.

Getting Cech would be too good to be true and Mourinho wouldn't do us such a favour.

Face it, we'll get some spunky lad from abroad who's generally solid but a bit crazy around the edges.

They did sell Mata to United.

We will probably be too cheap though and go hunting in the bargain bins of Europe.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think its happening. We'll get Neto, and he'll turn out to be worse than Mignolet & Jones put together

So, Warnock's out, and I'm as a Palace fan don't really know what to think.

We have been excellent in some games, but very unfortunate in terms of scoring goals. Warnock now finally seem to have lost both the fans and some of the squad, but I'm not sure who we can get that will improve us rather then trying to rebuild us.

If they have a good name lined up, then fine. If they're just going to put Keith Millen in charge as a caretaker while they start their search, then I'm worried.

Edit: And the latter alternative was just confirmed...... :\

He's on easy, he's only 10. Probably for the best. Watching him is a bit painful, but he's improving. He's almost at the end of the game, fuck knows how he got here, or how long it took. He got Uncharted 3 for Christmas so he wants to finish 2 today.
