Football Thread 2014/2015 |OT11| This Is Our Year!

I think people gaining weight in their 20s and 30s has a lot more to do with lifestyle (less socialising, more eating, more money to buy food to eat, less exercise due to job, more stress due to job) than some critical change in metabolism.

Yeah this. I'm 20, and I started putting on weight at 18, more due to the fact that when I left home to go to university I started eating shit and did a lot less exercise. Now I've changed that, I'm back to where I was. So yeah, I think lifestyle more than metabolism is the cause.

That's disgusting and you should really stop doing that.

Probably should mate, but I love it so much. I never cook on week days as am constantly eating out for dinner so I dont really like anything too rich or heavy, fuck sandwhiches and salads so yeah. It amazing how it fills you up and the fries are breathtaking

Definitely true but there are some physical factors too it feels like. I know when I was in college, I wasn't going to the gym or anything and was always about the same weight (something like 140 pounds) whereas now in my 30s (and earlier in my late 20s), if I don't go for awhile I can see physical differences. If I get my ass in gear and go again there is a palpable difference. Not getting much sleep catches up to you too which seems to play a role. I hate needing sleep.

I try to stay away from McD... everytime I had a meal there I regret it within minutes and tell myself to never go again..

That usually lasts for 4-8 weeks..

I have a query about shaving.

After about a year of bearding, I've decided to go back to a cleaner cut.

Yesterday I clean shaved for the first time in ages and today my stubble is just horrible. It's itchy and bitty and just not good. Does this always happen when you clean shave in that 1-2 period when your stubble begins to grow back?

(I should just trim regularly I know)

Really surprised nobody snatched Bony when his release clause (£15m?) was active.

Kinda wanted us to go in for him then, tbh.

Think this just might be an astute, Andy Cole-like signing for City (from when United signed Cole).

Fee's pretty gargantuan though. Fitting, I suppose.

This sounds pretty similar to my process with similar consequences.

It's just so difficult to know when enough beard is enough, you know?

I hate having to be clean-shaven, always feels like a rash while it comes back over the next couple of days.

Usually happens to me too if I go unshaven for a while and then do a clean shave
